It should never come to this publically. If the FLOTUS does not get her way, the FLOTUS stands down. She doesn't give more red meat to the President's enemies.

Our First Lady has sat by quietly while the media and democrat operatives have tried to destroy her, her son and her husband.
She’s a beautiful woman, fashionable, yet on the cover of no magazines.
She is a legal immigrant, yet she watches as others are encouraged to enter the country illegally.
This time a control freak tried to exert authority they did not have hit a brick wall named Melania Trump.
Bravo. It makes my heart sing.

Mine is, the First Lady is not an elected position and any disagreements between her and the staff should remain between her and the staff.

First the woman refused to follow standard protocol by coming separately and apparently according to several news articles I have read she has pissed off a lot of people including Kelly. She has been asked to resign several times to no avail and I think finally the First Lady had enough . I don’t believe Melania is a petty woman...heck look at what she has kept her mouth shut over for the past 2 years and only tried to be gracious through it.
Just so happens this West Wing employee that you also didn’t vote for was treading on the First Lady’s trip abroad.

I'm not disagreeing with Melania's opinion. I'm disagreeing with how she handled it.

It paints her as a rather mean prima donna -— no one really cares about or understands the protocol this woman ignored -— and she becomes one more White House occupant whining to the media about palace intrigue.
Hopefully Melania learns from this.

I just don’t want the First Ladies office to become an “office” . Think Michelle Obama or that bush lady...yes, I know her name, but....I have no respect , so no reason to use it.

Didn’t like this at all, either, but I suppose it’s within her rights as FLOTUS. Sets a precedent other first ladies haven’t attempted - pressuring removal of WH staff, especially with 0 reason given.
I didn’t vote for Trump to have his wife calling the shots. He could’ve just as easily handled the situation himself or ordered Kelly to handle it.
Over the last two years Melania has put up with untold amounts of BS from the press to swamp creatures left over from the previous administration. She has endured it with dignity and grace, putting up with more attacks upon her family and herself than anyone should have to endure.
This is the first time to my knowledge that she’s stuck her claws out and absent evidence to the contrary I take it at face value that she has a damned good reason. I trust her and if Melania says this woman is being a bitch & needs to go then she needs to go.
