Interesting info on First Ladies.....
Just a FYI:
While first ladies since Edith Roosevelt utilized the availability of White House staff, they did not operate from a specific office until the late 1970s, when First Lady Rosalynn Carter organized the workspace now known as the Office of the First Lady (Image 13). This office contained four areas of focus: (1) projects and community liaison, (2) press and research, (3) schedule and advance, and (4) social and personal. Mrs. Carter also added a Chief of Staff position to oversee the entire operations
Due to Hillary Clinton the courts ruled the the FLOTUS is an assistant to the President.

No call to expose the First Lady to criticism.
When an administration bureaucrat oversteps his/her position and authority it should not become the responsibility of the First Lady to resolve it.
If she cold not get satisfaction internally (as stated) the president could/should have resolved the issue before it went public.
On the other hand, the First Lady does not have to accept being dis-respected and treated like an underling.
I tell you all! Melania has throwing knives up those sleeves she wears!
Nancy Reagan and Hillary could also make staffers disappear.
You call the White House swichboard and ask to speak to Melania.

What the hell is up with Bolton ? He is behaving like a fool . His position within the White House is the ultimate job he has ever had .Much more important than his brief tenure as UN Ambas. The “deputy National Security advisor” and “another NSC staffer”-— that is to say the said deputy advisor is simply-— a “STAFFER” whose job it is to brief the First Lady, along with appropriate State Dept. “staffers” on the cultural and potential policy issues in the countries visited. It is their JOB to do so, not to insist on flying on a secure plane with the First Lady on board with her personal staff.
This idiot throwing her weight around- won’t advise the First Lady if you don’t get a seat on her plane-— tough crap— there are HUNDREDS of other people who can do your job, and btw-— they will, because you’re FIRED!!

Our Melania is not the one who went all Romper Room. Ricardel pitched the tantrum. That behavior is not tolerable for someone working in a sensitive position.
Then there are the complaints about Ricardel “belittling” staffers and being a generally vile creature. That “belittling” may well constitute verbal abuse.
And lastly, to our dear pearl clutching, fainting Freepers—so the White House is labeled in some circles as a “snake pit”? By following pearl clutcher logic, Melania *not* firing Ricardel would reduce the perception of snake pittedness?
It’s a risible assumption—that there is absolutely *anything* FLOTUS or POTUS could do to which WaPo would respond with less venom.
Thus, they are free to do what they want. The President figured this out early. He understands how to have fun with it. Melainia’s “I Don’t Care” jacket signaled her willingness to play along. Rather than fall for WaPo’s efforts at deploying a Look Squirrel, I recommend we follow the President’s and First Lady’s leads.

However, if people of authority ‘outside’ her domain work against her, she will go around whoever she has to to sustain Harmony in the East Wing.....including her secretary Making a public statement. (Pressure)
