I live in a suburb of Houston. If I remember correctly the shooter was identified as white or Hispanic with a beard.
Based on race how?
What evidence?
If the mother was the only person providing that description, there is room to doubt.
It coulda been sexist.
How do they know it wasn’t road rage and not racial at all? The white guy would also make eye contact if they had pulled out in front of him, maybe even unknowingly.

I guess my issue is that a young black child is murdered in Houston, Texas possibly by a white male and it is national news. A young black child is murdered in Sacramento, California by three black males and the story is totally ignored by the national media.

With today’s technology, shouldn’t they have nabbed the perp, by now?
My children were shot at while in my vehicle. UNLESS you have the perp saying why he is doing it, you won’t know. Maybe she cut somebody off in traffic.....
My wife and I have suspicions about the case for these reasons: First, the woman gave a detailed description of the attacker while he was firing a full magazine at her and her car (white guy, approx 40 yrs old, beard, wearing hoodie, with police sketch); second, pictures of the car show no bullet holes after a full mag emptied into it; third, it is implausible that the woman would continue to drive for another ten minutes after the shooting before she stopped and checked on the kids; fourth, kind of skeptical about mom on a coffee run with the kids.
We suspect that she knew the attacker and that the attack was gang or drug related....it’s Houston.
