Trump knows emergency declaration coming. This buys him time for RBG’s passing and his next SC pick.
Have to jet. Later Pats!
Trump said this multiple times: we have agreed.
I think he did the right thing here to look reasonable, and the "delay" is not that long. Trump will hold the ying-yangs to"we have agreed". If that does not happen then, he'll pull the pin.
Just heard on the squawker that Trump has called the press to return. He wants to say something else...
"And you're all doody-heads!"
Its being reported that Schumer just said no wall.
Chuckie Tumor just said “I hope Donald Trump has learned his lesson.”
I HATE these people!
I speculate that the Q man will post today to calm the restless hordes.
Things seem to have calmed down here a bit, after the initial panic.
I will take a nap now, in anticipation of a possible Q sighting.
Hold the fort, men.

Watching the news - the hair pulling and gnashing of teeth re “the wall”, I wished I could reach through the monitor and tell those people, “Good news. Hope is not lost.” :)
People knew Trump was a master negotiator coming in to office. Once there, they no longer want him to use the tools of negotiation which have brought him success. Now, (too) many perceive everything he says as the bottom line, the end of the road etc.
Sure, he had acquired the funds needed to build the wall way back when he got funding for the military. He hasn’t use those funds yet. Hes noted he could declare a state of emergency and even many lefties agree that he can do it, but he doesn’t think the timing is right.
He has reasons for what he does and if he tells us, the exposure costs him the advantages hes cultivated. But the MSM is fantastic at stressing people out until many are clamoring for his strategies laid out in great detail, and the MSM convinces many that POTUS’ unwillingness to tell us his strategy is “proof” there is none.
One way to negotiate, is to set a red-line and then finally concede that red-line, making the other party feel like they’ve gotten the better deal. But this is done to gain leverage elsewhere. For example, POTUS shows that he is conceding a big (red-line) point, and then he (and the public) expects the Dems to concede their big point.
I dont know what angles and optics hes negotiating for - the above is an example. I am NOT a negotiator, but I recognize one when I see one.
POTUS says things just to upset the left sometimes, and they run upstairs stomping their feet real loud, and slamming doors, and when they get to their rooms, they play their music real loud - like petulant children. This exposes the reality of the left in a way that CNN never has.
And while this is happening, it just seems like some of Trumps supporters seem to panic, and worry that the lefts accusations against him might actually be true.
I am calmer as I wonder whats going on, because I trust the plan, and hes still done more than any other POTUS. Some of his accomplishments were thought impossible (North Korea) and all the while, many on both sides were yelling, OH NO! Look what he just did!
I call congress critters and message the White House for what I want to see happen, and I vote and encourage others to vote, as is my right. In the meantime, as I red-pill, I watch his academy-award-worthy negotiating Kabuki theatre with genuine interest. I cant think of anyone else who could handle the challenges hes dealing with better - Im content.
I think POTUS (may re-election be upon him) doesnt want to declare the National Emergency because the left will immediately tie him up in court but as long as this drama goes on he is already building and renovating sections of the wall under the radar. So now he has three more weeks to keep building while they spar over a mythical 5.7 billion dollars.
POTUS did learn a lesson! He set a DEADLINE for the dal to be DONE. Set it in concrete and said, no deal, its a National Emergency.
dal=deal ..no typer am I!
Strike three coming soon?
Hoping forSOTU and National Emergency announcement soon if no cooperation.
I as well, but lets not forget, right now the wall IS being built!
Aha yes. Now the SOTU can proceed as scheduled.
That’s my take. If they don’t give him the $5.7B by 2-15-19 he will have the freedom to do whatever it takes.
Thanks for the reminder.
Nancy and the tumor make me sick.
:(
Anon thoughts:
I sat here and looked at an empty podium, next to it was a little table with nothing but a glass of water on it.
So I watched the water.
17 minutes past 11 POTUS came out and told us in three weeks a wall will be built or he will declare a national emergency
that would be on Feb. 14th.
On Feb.14th 2018 Q told us to watch the water.
Pelosi and Schumer just said they will agree to what the conference committee recommends.
Everyone gave.
I'm witholding seeing this as either a brilliant win or terrible loss. The game has moved into overtime.
My leftist acquaintances are all crowing about Trump "caving". That's painful, but I guess it is the simplistic view of this, and I didn't bother to argue about it.
No one on our side had their primary focus keeping Federal Employees out of work.
If we get to June and there is no wall being built, then I would agree that Pelosi won.
I am positive that the National Guard and the Coat Guard receiving paychecks were a significant consideration.
If the demonrats go back on their word, President Trump can shut it down again. (after having made sure ALL of our Service men and women will be paid regardless of a shut down)
