"Last month House Republicans voted 217-185 to approve a measure that would keep the government open and allocate $5.7 funding for border wall construction.
The bill is now waiting a full vote in the Senate, where lawmakers are hashing it out over funding for border security.
I could be wrong but I thought a bill passed in the previous session could not be voted on by the Senate, that the new House would have to vote on that again. Maybe I'm not expressing this clearly. But iow a bill passed by the previous House session is basically dead.
Hopefully someone who knows more will correct or affirm this.
Looks like it to me, and SanFranNan in the front.
Would be even more awesome for it to be 105,00 strong were chanting it all at the same time.
How many think POTUS knew this all along ... raise your hand. 🙋♀️
Maybe I give him and team Trump too much credit, but we'll have to wait to see how this all comes out. (RE: RIF, Wall, Tribunals, making the Derps look like the slime they are etc.)
You're not wrong. That bill from the last Congress is dead.
Wow! Eye-opening. Thanks.
Rep. Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) called on his Democratic colleagues to give President Trump the funding for his long-desired border wall between the U.S. and Mexico, saying its construction is inevitable.
“Give Trump the money,” Peterson told KFGO’s “News & Views” on Tuesday. “I’d give him the whole thing … and put strings on it so you make sure he puts the wall where it needs to be. Why are we fighting over this? We’re going to build that wall anyway, at some time.”
The 15-term congressman said top Democrats look at him “cross-eyed” when he makes this suggestion.
The funding could come with stipulations requiring some money go toward Border Patrol and improving security measures at ports of entry, Peterson said.
“I don’t know if I want to give (Trump) a blank check, but I don’t want to preclude him from getting the money either, if he’s going to use the money correctly,” Peterson told the the outlet.

As Q has said, enjoy the show!
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Esther Inglis-Arkell is commenting on entirely something else over at Gizmodo but expresses this thought better than I:
"I think Clarke meant that technology and magic were the same to the uninitiated. Tell a person who is totally ignorant of, say, television that the pictures on a television are something you personally create with magic and tell them that it's vast web of interconnecting technologies, and their response is largely the same. Then again, most people are "ignorant" of television, in any practical sense. Even those who know the basic physical concepts behind the idea wouldn't be able to reconstruct a television, or even most of the parts of a television. When it comes to making even the plastic casing that surrounds the technology, all but a few people in a thousand would be completely stumped. We've never learned how to do it.
But we assume that, given the right training and resources, we could learn how to do it. This is why, no matter what wonders scientists produce in a lab, from an electronic limb that amputees move using their thoughts to animal-less meat, we don't point at them and shout, "Sorcerers!" We have no idea how it's done but we sense that, given time and teaching, we could do it, too. Even the most extraordinary feats, which we are entirely ignorant about, we write off as science and technology.
Sadly, this is a fact. Too often too many are so intellectually damaged by the intentional miseducation in our system that they walk away and silently vow to never learn bother to struggle to learn something new ever again. This is compounded by the fact that as each of us become more specialized the education and experience required to understand creates a barrier to casual development of understanding by one of what the other is doing and why.
This is why giving away the internet was a far larger crime than I think many understand. Its only by keeping us all dumbed down and separated by the difficulty of sharing our experience and training that governments can keep us all wondering at the magic that occurs around us every day.
I think that much of what we are looking for is encoded but unintentionally so by those doing it, theyre only using the language of the specialist. The intent to deceive is on the part of miseducators, enemedia, and the DS actors that seek to exacerbate the divides.
Im not ashamed to admit that its taking me hours to slog through single sentences to understand what is actually being said and why these things are being studied. How many others would even bother to try?
When vascular diseases are largely gone and cancer is cured there are going to be a couple of players in pharma that are going to crash hard and DS is going to lose a significant percentage of shock troops.
All credit to those in The Forbidden City!
Kathy Griffin is such a skanktard.
That she is. Hopefully she keeps her head shaved, us gingers have a difficult enough time!
Brilliant. Trump knows this, I’m sure. He blew smoke about “national emergency” to help keep the Democrats confused until the shutdown went past the 30 day mark.
Trump can build the wall AND RIF 800K federal workers, saving 1 billion+ A WEEK in salary/benefits.
Pure Trump
Go Trump - MAGA
Go Melania aka Lady MAGA

Her last name is A+ list. It is recognized by generations of people. In today's society, people still recognize it, but not to the extent it was once held.
She is at a level of riches that most people can't comprehend and has been that way her whole life.
People assume she has nothing to do with the sprawling empire of her money, but they would be wrong. She recognizes how her family made their fortune and follows that same philosophy today.
In the last couple of years there was a hiccup in her shadow plan. She was forced to briefly emerge from the shadows.

That one makes the most sense to me...
Is that Beto behind Pelosi?
