Sore Losers. Just ignore things like the Common Law, parliamentary democracy, the steam engine, ending the slave trade, and railroads.

BBC is spelled “MSNBC/CNN” in the USA.

Why the Beeb is really po’d: Boris just exempted OAPs, pensioners, in this case the really old ones, from the boob tube tax, costing the Beeb some serious money.

The BBC is the British CNN- albeit with folks who can actually speak the language.

Funny how so many people from all these superior places that dont have to import some things or others are flocking to get into England. Denigrating England for importing many things is a forest for the trees thing: England, a tiny Island stood astride the world and imported what they damned well pleased.

I believe the BBC is funded by the British people, just like PBS and NPR are funded with our tax dollars. Not that they are needed (there are now 1000 cable channels out there that are privately financed and self-supporting) but apparently, the powers that be have decided that we need to pay for such outlets that in turn trash us, put down our views, and pay their staff exorbitant salaries using our tax dollars.

Thanks for the reminder. I'm not a Clapton or Stones fan but they were parts of bigger things.

Yea, that’s gotta be edited. But yes, he shoulda hung it up after Quadrophenia and joined the Trailblazers. He and Bill Walton would have had the Best Beards in the NBA.

Britain had historically failed to produce anything of note,It just invented democracy and the common law. It also gave us most of the practical science and engineering that has given us the industrial revolution.
Other than that... no, not much.

Sorry, mised yours, but at least our lists are the same.
