Just wondering if there are any Hams out there and what are you listening to?

I used to listen in on the Maritime Mobile and Seafarers nets on 20m. These days I'm on just about every evening almost exclusively doing traffic nets.

There was a ham radio ping list maintained by Denver Ditdat quite a few years back. Looks like he took a break from FR and never returned.

I am tuned in to 7200 right now like a lot of licensed hams who would never admit that. Have good friends on 1865, 1875, 3850, 3865, 3950 and 28807.

ROFL!! 7200 is the new 14.313. Listening to the idiots on those two frequencies just makes me laugh.

I'd be curious to know if we have mutual acquaintances as I have contacts on 3865 and 3950 also.

I think the fun of SW radio was not so much the content, but that you were listening to a place so far away. It was closest we had to the internet back in the day. Getting skip radio/TV broadcasts was a rare treat that way, too.

I don't really eat all that much salty stuff. Not that I watch the sodium, or shy away from it. Sometimes some salty pretzels are just the ticket. And we can't forget the bacon. Love bacon. My last blood test, the doc was shocked. sodium levels were -his words - perfect.🤷‍♂️

I have the 400xdr in my car and yes I can get to the america-link room on it. I also have a ftm100 and hri200 at home set up as a simplex repeater. I also have an ft2x and an ft991a that works for wires-x. Great fun.
