The European Union’s chief diplomat suggested Monday that China was supplanting the United States as the world's No. 1 superpower and urged European countries to develop a united strategy for dealing with Beijing.

"We only have a chance if we deal with China with collective discipline,” EU High Representative Josep Borrell told colleagues at virtual gathering of German diplomats, according to The Associated Press.

“We need a more robust strategy for China, which also requires better relations with the rest of democratic Asia,” added Borrell, the former Spanish foreign minister.

“United strategy” is code for “surrender.”

Europe learned nothing at the battle of Tours, nothing from the third Reich, and nothing from the EU. Europe is incorrigible.

And when China comes in and assumes control of the EU and they plead with the US to come and save them like they did in WWII tell them to FO.

A little primer for the worthy EU High Representative:

The kowtow is act of respect or submission, shown by kneeling and bowing so low as to have one's head touching the ground.

Better start practicing now, worthy EU High Representative. Practice makes perfect!

Odd that he didn’t mention the Russians, no?

Vlad’s going to need to announce a new weapons system.

The USA should have annexed all of Europe back in 1945. East Germany should never have happened. We are now bearing the fruits of that terrible decision. The communist East Germans (by proxy of Germany) now rule Europe with an iron fist.

The Chinese are nowhere nearly as “robust” as some of their apologists want to make out. Much like the former Soviet Union, the Chinese Communists place entirely too much trust in their military might and the implicit threat they pose.

Economically, the Chinese Communist regime has survived by adopting and even blatantly stealing much of the innovative technology of the West, then turning around and applying that stolen technology to the manufacture of products which are then sold at cut-rate prices, carrying on economic warfare with the other more advanced countries. By forcing this lopsided and highly asymmetric trade imbalance, other nations find themselves at a huge disadvantage with the Chinese, and in fact, are often themselves deeply in debt to the Chinese, as the Chinese communist regime uses these trade surpluses to buy other nations’ debt, holding yet another sword over their heads.

If the Chinese could be counted upon to be honest players, this would not matter. But the Communist regime there is determined to destroy capitalism as it has been known throughout the west, and substitute a sort of state-sponsored entrepreneurial arrangement, in which the managers are free to make investments in their continued growth, but with relatively limited sharing in the wealth generated. It is not at all surprising to learn that the largest of the state sponsors is the People’s Liberation Army, the military branch of the Chinese Communist regime.

Even on the economic front, this is a military operation.
