Did he try to speak with a slight “Minnesohda Nice” accent?
Yep, Roberts has never stood up when OUR values and liberty were on the line, I wouldn’t expect him to start now. Remember how he said omebacare was constitutional because it wasn’t a tax, and then came back in a later case and said Omebacre Was constitutional because it WAS a tax?!?!
Ah will SPEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW THEEEEE OUTTA MAH MOUTH!!!!!!!!
Elections have consequences! WooHoo! Let’s Roll! It’s Off To Work I Go!

US Circuit Judge & former FL Supreme Court Justice Barbara Lagoa is at the top of Trump's list to fill Justice Ginsburg's seat. Source who spoke to WH: Justice Lagoa is perfect. [Trump] president wants a conservative jurist and he wants to win the biggest battleground." 1/3— Marc Caputo (@MarcACaputo) September 19, 2020
As Puke and Snot of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival say, "We don't have an accent."
Yep, that’s what we need alright. But to get that we need 50 Senators who will vote aye. It’s 53/47 and Pence will break the tie so we can lose 3 at most. If that azzwipe Kelly defeats McSally, since it’s a special election he could be seated as soon as Nov. 30 which would reduce the margin even more if it’s not done before election day.
Collins has just said “the decision on a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court should be made by the President who is elected on November 3rd.
Murkowski was first to say no right from the jump.
Mittens hasn’t said anything yet. What are the odds?
Grassley and Graham have both made statements, but Graham reversed himself after Kavanaugh and Grassley no longer chairs the committee and would not cross party lines.
So it’s possible that we could end up with just those 3 defectors and pass with a tie vote. (Let the riots begin!)
Or one senator with a huge ego and a death wish in the Trump GOP could join them and that would be the end of it. (Ben Sasse, I’m looking at you...)
Twitter rumor: If Lee, Cruz, or Cotton were nominated what they could be instantly seated, no advice and consent needed. Probably BS but one wonders, after Trump recently added those three names to his shortlist.
And in a less serious vein...
“BREAKING: An accuser has already stepped forward with an allegation against the Trump nominee. Sources familiar with the matter say they are just waiting to know who they are accusing before releasing more details.”
RBG = Red.
wow. Pretty deep dive there
What are the chances of Kelly defeating McSally?
Thanx. I need to work on that reading comprehension

2. Geography aside, Lagoa also has some demographic advantages: she's a Cuban-American from Miami (Hialeah), a crucial voting bloc for Trump.

Judging by the smoke signals and buzz, the top of Trump's shortlist to replace Ginsburg are judges Lagoa & Barrett.
Lagoa sounds more like WH fave. Lagoa is a Florida fave.
But Trump needs to win FL...

Also, Lagoa was confirmed 80-15 in Nov 2019. Less than a year later, Senate Dems would have trouble explaining why they were voting against her now.— LolaBean (@BeanLols) September 19, 2020
What is that? I thought the observatory was saved ... I saw the whole hill had been covered in fire retardant.
I hope someone puts a list of important news for this past week. If I have time I’ll try to do one and others can add that ones I forgot/missed.
Isn’t Griffiths Observatory in SF? One reply to that claims s/heit has friends nearby and they heard/saw nothing. ?
I don’t see that anywhere else ?!?!?
There’s fire there? AHA, it’s in LA, I did search; no mention of explosion that I could find easily. There was fire around Griffiths park area in mid July. Wonder if it was arson, probably. Another arson fire in my valley today, luckily it got knocked down at 1/4 acre.
