Harry Kallas and Richie Ashburn were the greatest broadcast duo ever. I count myself blessed to have listened to them for 15 years.
Katie Couric, Ken Jennings and Dr. Oz???? All what I call Establishment ‘hos’.
We liked Aaron Rogers. Did not know until I read someone’s comment above that he approves of kneeling during the National Anthem. Had I known that we wouldn’t have watched.
We didn’t watch while Couric was on.
Never heard of Joe Buck. Sounds like I do not want to watch while he is on, based on the comments here.
Can’t stand that liberal.
Trebek had his nose up Obama’s ass but he is nonetheless without peer and irreplaceable.
It’s like when Bonham and Moon died. Just ain’t the same.
Joe Buck is Howdy Doody, The Jock Version.
Rogers just might be too White. How can he take the chair without BLM protest?
I am really surprised they didn’t ask one of the BOs.
Definitely the nail in the coffin were they to ‘expect’ me to put up with either of them....OR most any pol or ‘celebrity’.
I don’t ‘like’ but think Ken Jennings will get it, he is already a ‘consultant’ or such or at least he is in the credits.
Katy or Oz will definitely lose me but suppose I could tolerate Rodgers
He just doesn’t have enough to do you know.
Orrin Hatch? Steve Young? Mitt Romney?
Used to watch all the time but stopped years ago. 0 faith in whoever they finally decide upon. I mean Couric? She is a moron. I learn more on FR these days anyway.
I never got tired of listening to Harry's home run call: "That ball is.....OUTTA HERE!"
I cannot even recall Jack Buck — which is part of the price for my accumulating years.
Orrin Hatch and Mitt Romney were not born in Utah.
What was the answer?
Pin Head yes
I’ll take “Sports Nepotism” for $1000...

Jack’s most famous call was a playoff walk-off homer by Ozzie Smtih. The Cardinals’ lead announcer yelled “Go crazy, folks! Go crazy!”
Jack was a former Marine with a drill sergeant’s no-nonsense tone who did national baseball and football telecasts as well as St. Louis Cardinals baseball broadcasts.
You know who was also pretty darn good at football? Vin Scully, he made the call on "The Catch" in the 81 NFC Championship Game.
Everyone on the show guessed Brigham young
The answer was Stanford. Or Stamford. Some guy or the founder of Stanford U
No one in the world associates Stanford with Utah, which in final Jeopardy when you have 45 seconds to come up with an answer then write it down in 15, is always going to mean a famous Mormon.
“I got eight dollars in my damn pocket!”
