” I cannot in good conscience get my jab until I know every POC on the planet has had theirs” You could add “Namaste” at the end and bow your head.
I guess the way I would present my case to a potential employer is, if you were dumb enough to take the vaccine you should be thankful someone like me who didn’t would willing to work for you......fortunately i’m self employed.
I got vaccinated.
I think it was in 1969, but I was vaccinated.
You might want to leave that part out.
My husband resigned as an IT staff member at a hospital yesterday after finding a wonderful job that significantly pays more and is remote. The hospital didn’t require the COVID-19 vaccine (although they strongly urged it) but they do require a yearly flu shot. He explained that he no longer trusted vaccine manufacturers. It’s a very rural hospital and he is quite popular there. It’s going to be very difficult for his boss to replace him. Employers are going to realize they will lose valuable staff if they mandate inoculation. If it wasn’t for Wuflu, he wouldn’t have been looking and would have missed a much better opportunity.
No.
My son will be starting a job on Monday. He was just asked by his new employer if he was fully vaccinated. He responded that he preferred to wear a mask.
Remember, the jab for COVID-19 is not a vaccine, its a gene therapy. By saying you are fully vaccinated is true (polio, measles, pox, etc. when you were a kid).
On second thought…
They shouldn’t be asking in the first place. It’s a private personal opinion.
If asked, turn it around. If they don’t accept that answer.
How did you vote in the last election?
What’s your stand on LGBTQ, BLM, Antifa, Joe Biden?
Has your spouse or you ever had an affair?
There’s a million ways to throw it back but would you really want to work for a company that ask to begin with?
In the short term, perhaps, but I expect travel and job opportunities to be wide open once the vaccinated half of the population succumbs to the “side effects.” /s
“My family has a history of blood clots, and my doctor told me not to take the vaccine until the FDA completes the trials and approves it.”
Maybe I’m wrong but I believe HIPPA laws prohibit employers from asking you about any medical procedures.....
If that is the case, they ask and you don’t get the job, sue.....
A few lawsuits and employers will stop this nonsense.....
I saw a van at the flea market one time that was making fake IDs for illegal aliens. Those guys could probably knock out a fake vaccine card without blinking.
Because I don’t HAF’ta’
I’m retired. I don’t need a job. Theoretically I could stay at home and not go anywhere until they start requiring a vaccine passport to get into a grocery store but the reason we retired to Spain in the first place was to be able to visit my wife’s family in the UK. Right now they don’t require you to be vaccinated but you do have to get tested before each trip, about 50 to 100 Euros each way, depending on what country you go to. They will vaccinate even people like myself who buy private medical insurance for no charge. Carrot and stick. In Spain it’s all controlled by the government but in the USA they couldn’t get away with that so they let private businesses do their dirty work for them.
Absolutely a violation of HIPPA laws.

LOL…. They could also say that in deference to the medical wisdom of “diverse” cultures, they drink cow urine every day to ward off COVID, rather than relying on “racist, imperialist” medicine. If the interviewer still looks skeptical, add that it is organic, gluten-free cow urine. That should cinch it.
The problem here is that the employer is liable if you get sick and cause an outbreak. The legislation passed in the early start of the pandemic made employers liable for people who were infected on the job. While that may be true for people in the medical field as standard practice, in the non-medical fields I don’t ever recall an employer being liable for people getting the flu, cold, strep, etc.
But under the pandemic legislation employers were made liable and it affects everything for them from OSHA to Worker Compensation to Unemployment.
If you lie and say your vaccinated and they later find out, you will be fired for said lie. And you will be ineligible for unemployment. And if you were sick, your employer is going to be paying out $$$$.
Your potential employer has little choice in needing to want to know your status. For them it is about protecting the business.
You may need to change careers completely to something that is remote work, become an independent contractor, etc. You are going to need to have that entrepreneurship in your back pocket.
