Spent about four hours in a presentation by Ronald Hamburger, Principle Engineer with ABS who did the full investigation of the World Trade Center destruction. We had about two hundred engineers in the Q & A. All of my questions on all the WTC buildings were answered. There are very small unanswered aspects to the structural collapse of WTC 7 during the fire that turned that massive building into a two story pile of burned rubble but the idea of controlled demolition is stupidly naive from the evidence.

Agree with you about the plane that crashed into the pentagon. But the flight 93 that us nothing but a whole in the ground. I think while the passengers fought back I think it was attacked or bombed. Cheney is in video that he gave the order.

There is a video interview with one of the two fighter pilots scrambled with orders to shoot down another potential threat (Flight 93). Her name is Heather Penney. The two F-16 jets were not armed with munitions. Thus, her colleague planned to ram the cockpit and she would ram the tail. Much later, they learned Flight 93 crashed before the two F-16 took off from Andrews AFB. perdue.edu

There is always sufficient money to buy off "scientists", but the mistakes made, like the BBC announcing that WTC7 had already fallen several minutes before it actually did is irrefutable. Silverstein's admission is unmistakable. Marvin Bush allowing lots of explosive supplies to be positioned in and unused WTC tower area is another.

Of course, GHWB/Dubya and Cheney saw to all the 100+ Israelis arrested after 9/11 being quickly released.

Does anyone else remember a story told on Free Republic (not sure it was a separate thread) about someone telling how the World Trade Center buildings should really be brought down, that appeared on the Internet shortly after the failed 1993 attack? Then these instructions disappeared completely, right after 9/11.

It said with buildings like these, with an outer steel shell, you attack from the top, not from the bottom as you do with regular demolition. Then they collapse one story at a time sort of like collapsible cup or a slinky.

I remember it well, but never saw the original post the freepers were talking about.

I do recall the WTC towers were built to pancake in the event of collapse. I also recall saying aloud within moments of the south tower being hit—that buidling is going to come down. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to know the building was mortally damaged at that corner location, lower level than the north tower. I’ve suspected that the north tower may not have collapsed except for the earth shattering collapse of the south tower.

The salient misgiving with conspiracy theories, “kooky” or otherwise, is the passage of time and the absence of credible turncoats amongst the conspirators. The bigger the alleged conspiracy, the more likely one or two of the participants would eventually have an attack of remorse or hatred for their conspiring pals and spill the beans.

The article said that on 9/11/2001 there were only five NG units with armed fighter jets in the U.S. Not hard to believe during that time.

Better many witnesses on the ground in PA saw in unmarked white plane flying over the crash site. Remember at that time all commercial airlines had been halted.
