“...allow disinformation to flourish unchecked....”. Did Ellie actually ever read it before! It WAS proving ground for mis/dis/mal-information.
I still listen to those 1970s albums, don't need Elton to be on Twitter to listen to those.
For me, all of these a-holes leaving Twitter is about as consequential as the FIFA World Cup currently being pushed on us. Ultimately,.....man....I don’t care. Actors, musicians, and athletes need to learn to ply their trade on the screen, stage, and field. Other than that, they need to shut it. The unwarranted self importance from these assclowns is mind numbing.
I think Cap’n Fantastic wants an FJB sniff when he gets a freedom medal for this
“Has he? Do you think he really goes on himself? He probably has a company he pays to post things for him.”
Nobody friggin cares if Elton John is on or off Twitter.
I don’t care if ANYBODY is on of off Twitter.
But there IS NO SUCH THING as ‘mis or dis information’
It’s called Free Speech Elton.
Only an idiot thinks everything we read should be “verified”.
Hey, all the members of Al-Qaeda also believe in one side of thinking, and to them, everybody that is not Muslim is wrong about everything and should all be dead.
Elton is the same kind of mindset, where every opinion not agreeing with his one-sided world-view, has to be wrong and eradicated.
His legend burned out before his candle ever did.

I hope all the anti Free Speech people mentioned in the article stay off Twitter and go to hell.
It’s maddening reading people who demand censorship.
One less pervert on a social media site, a drop in the **** bucket.
Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s misinformation Elton. If you think something is inaccurate, defend your position. Make your case. Otherwise you are just legitimizing the old adage that none are so blind as they who refuse to see.
God Save The Queen..
I might join twitter now. With Elton John gone, the disinformation factor has fallen significantly.
LOL!
Joe Bonamassa left social media entirely last month, though he cited more general reasons. "Social media has become such a distraction for me," Bonamassa wrote in a since-deleted post. "This place feels like it has the maturity of high school and I fear I am gonna be provoked one day into saying something I might regret. Enjoy it before it destroys your soul."
I agree totally~!

So true~!
So... a performing artist has an issue with free speech.
