Sorry for your loss of your brother. It is always difficult to lose a part of yourself. Prayers out.

My mother’s cancer caused her brain to not know us on a Christmas Day some years back. It was a hard thing.

Now, when my brothers and I get together, gone are the old rivalries and petit feuding, replaced with deepest respect for one another. And the comfort of shared memories too sharp to be brought out carelessly for mere entertainment.
The river of life flows on and we smile seriously as the grand-kids play.
I’m sorry. Lost my sister, only sibling in June suddenly during a TEE procedure. Lost my husband suddenly October 2022.
I miss them both.
Sympathies for the loss of your brother. My mom died on Christmas Eve ‘22. She got the injection and within a couple years she had serious clots in her legs, then m aggressive cancerous tumors that ended her.

You have my sympathies as well.
I understand that people who are aging will have medical problems. However, personal experiences certainly make an impression, as they should. I don’t know anyone who did not get the shot, got Covid and suffered greatly or died. On the contrary, I know people who got Covid and got over it. I know two people who got the shot and died. I know people, younger than myself, who got the shot and then had medical problems.
I’m sorry for your loss.
He’s gone...
I’m “ok”, it’s just going to be a real mess sorting out the fallout. So far as anyone knows he’d made no arrangements & we don’t even know if he kept his life insurance “up”, where records might be (he’d gotten evicted from his apt.), etc.
Go now. I spent a week with my grandma before she died. Weather kept me from the funeral but I value that week.

To be clear, it turned out it was only hours after my initial post that my brother passed. The end came faster than expected.
