The story about Jeffrey Epstein and his child sex slaves was once labeled a conspiracy theory. Now that some of the names are being released, there’s a much bigger story to knock it off the front page. Another shooting. Three injured. Shooter dead. That’s so much more important than high profile politicians and celebrities raping children. How dare anyone suggest there is a conspiracy to keep the news of those rapes and the identity of the rapists off the front page. There’s nothing suspicious about a local shooting overshadowing an international pedophile ring. /s
They are not announcing yet, but the shooter appears to be a 17 year old white male. And has several pictures and social media posts of the gay/trans nature.
Expect this news to go away in 3. 2. 1....

As I stated, nut job conspiracy theories are a thorn in the side of conservatism.
A small number of posters immediately go to these whacky ideas the minute something happens .
I normally just ignore them.
If you feel comfortable with that type of discussion that’s your right .
But you won’t be part of the solution to fix what’s broken in our nation by supporting those false ideas.
You are ignoring real issues and grasping at shadows.
So log off the internet and help your sensibilities.

I never took a position, to contextualize what I said in my last post, your arguments hold no merit when based on a logical fallacy, that appealing to emotion holds no force of reason if you will.
Regardless, whether you believe in an idea or not, no matter how extreme it may be, labeling it reflexively as a conspiracy is not conducive to a conversation either.
I am not stating nor providing support in this comment that MK Ultra is responsible or even exists today. I am only saying it was a real program run by the CIA (this is a fact the government has admitted to) and it generated very real, even actionable results. By no means is it a myth that it existed, in fact the very opposite is true.

Obviously, the problem is... the signs are all in English. They need to be in several other languages to be “effective”.
You are diverting away from the truth
Every time an incident like this happens , two things are guaranteed.
The gun grabbers make statements to get rid of guns. 2) whacko conspiracy theories come up that some government entity somehow whispered secret brainwashing messages to make the shooter do this .
Both ideas are sickening and only embolden non productive discussion.
As I said I normally stay quiet when I see these crazy ideas spouted.
True conservatism rejects conspiracy theories and searches for TRUTH.

Actually not much different from a focused mind control program, if you bother to think about it. Just in the current societal state it is randomly administered and allows the law of numbers to take effect.
Searching for the truth typically does not involve rejecting information or ideas, it involves reasonable debate and consideration, then provides a refutation, not a rejection through assertion.
