One thing is certain: It’s going to be frigid in Kansas City this evening.

Championship droughts for NFL playoff teams:
1957-Detroit Lions-2nd longest league overall (1947 Chicago/St Louis/Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals franchise is longest) but longest current wait to play in Super Bowl as Cardinals franchise did against Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLIII in 2009.
1965-Buffalo Bills-AFC Champions before Super Bowl created.
1973-Miami Dolphins
1994-San Francisco 49ers.
1995-Dallas Cowboys
1998-Cleveland Browns (new team added in 1998 when original franchise transferred to Baltimore).
2002-Houston Texans-Expansion team to have yet to appear in a Super Bowl.
2008-Pittsburgh Steelers
2010-Green Bay Packers
2012-Baltimore Ravens
2017-Philadelphia Eagles (previous championship was in 1960).
2020-Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2021-Los Angeles Rams
2022-Kansas City Chiefs (defending Super Bowl champions).

Browns
Dolphins
Bills (maybe Steelers should just skip it)
Bucs
Lions
Cowboys

There are three tiers this year:

Top Tier: Ravens, Niners, Cowboys

Second Tier: Bills, Dolphins

Third Tier: the rest

Super Bowl: Ravens over Dallas (the Niners) Ravens look unbeatable this year.

Net scoring favors the Lions over the Rams.

Lions’ #5 strong scoring offence should roll over Ram’s #19 fairly weak scoring-against defense.

However, the Rams could upset the Lions with good #8 scoring offense against the Lions sad #23 weak scoring defense.

Lions have the edge but as it was in the Mickey Mouse Club, it could be “Anything Can Happen Day”.

The Bills lost to the Chiefs for the AFL Championship in 1966 for the right to go to the first Super Bowl. AFL championships are all we have to hang our hats on around here. The Browns and the Packers were the class of pro football in the mid 60’s. It would have been interesting to see how those Bills teams would have fared against them.

No, they should keep it right where it’s scheduled and let the organization deiced for itself what to do, not some stupid woman who’s trying to play their mom.

Some of the best games to watch are these snow bowls. They’re fun to watch.

These tyrannical women. Wish they’d go away.

They should keep it whare it is. Last year, when the Dolphins traveled to Buffalo, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel wore a tee shirt which read "I wish it were colder."

His wish has been granted.

Super Wild Card Week:

Browns
Chiefs
Steelers
Cowboys
Rams
Buc’s

Should be a wild weekend of football. I picked the Cowboys but my gut is with the Packers.

Buffalo over Pittsburgh
Dallas over GB
Detroit over LAR
Philadelphia over Tampa Bay (the Philly talent shamed for weeks, wakes up, IMHO)
