The 1992 riots started in black Watts. Watts is now about 80% Mexican. The Mexicans have effectively wiped out Obama’s so-called “army.” Mexicans now make up the majority ethnicity in LA County. There won’t be another riot in Watts.

I’ve always followed CW II scenarios with interest and have played many of them out with a retired O5 with Pentagon experience who is a close friend.
The idea of Team Obama (McCord) talking out loud about writing position papers to subvert the chain of command is a new twist on all the “twenty million deer hunters” scenarios - which I’m sure we agree are all ridiculous.
The only way I can see American soldiers and Marines killing each other as a result of political conflict is exactly this - troopers put into a conflict situation under turncoat O1-O3 officers drowning them in misinformation without access to good sources.
Lieutenants are eager to please, Captains think they know it all but these days, troops have access to info on their phones. However, with the lack of educated white soldiers now, there could be a bad problem brewing.
Wars are just for people who want to get themselves killed without making a big difference. Asymmetric warfare, on the other hand ...
WTF? That's not what started Rodney King riots of 1992 in Los Angeles. It was the police being acquitted from their relentless beat down of Rodney King. The flash point was at a liquor store on Florence and Normandy Avenues which are not in Korea Town. It spread from there.

No matter how peaceful they appear on the surface, no volcano is truly dormant.
The Yellowstone caldera appears peaceful. If you ignore Old Faithful and swarms of low magnitude earthquakes.
However, at some point it will erupt again. And the devastation is likely to be continental in scale.
Mount St. Helens was long thought to be dormant, until it blew itself right out of the Big Mountain category,
