“You haven’t been paying attention to how DA’s actually act, have you?”
Well if they haven’t thought of it before, Target sure just threw up a red flag of attention and gave them the idea to do it didn’t they?
Stupid to create a red flag problem where there wasn’t one.
My pharmacies scan my ID. Of course, I’m getting a controlled substance for my ADHD, lol.
Like seriously, WTF is it? They weren't cheap, either. Like $35 for a 750 ml bottle.
Not about to try it. I can't imagine it would have the bite of actual whisky and I'm certainly not gonna pay $35 for a bottle of caramel-flavored water.
In a lot of states the law requires non-alcoholic ‘malt beverages’ to be treated like real beer. I’m assuming NA wines may be in the same category. Yes, the self checkout machines I’ve used have paused the transaction till a store employee can verify age (at my age they just punch in something without really looking at my license).
I saw it in a meme the other day. It is a good way to put it.
is like watching porn on the radio

AM or FM?
Thats racist! This will affect p.o.c. more.because, you know, the no I.D. needed to vote thing - because p.o.c dont have ID’s.
Indeed. Of course, Target is extremely 'woke', so such lunacy is expected.
Since it is all computerized, it is trivial to just not flag NA beverages as requiring ID. The Register should only prompt for ID if it's actually alcoholic. You shouldn't even have to rely on the folks at the register (if any) being able to tell the difference between brands that might be NA.
Very good point!
