Ok, but I’m going to include you in my prayers tonight. (Yes, I figure that prayers over little things are just about as important as praying about bigger things, especially on behalf of others.) Cheesecake once in a while doesn’t sound like the kind of thing that should be forbidden forever. It’s not like she has to make it for you.

Thank you, but she is adamant about cheesecake!... Any other dessert is okay, banana pudding, chocolate anything, and any type of ice cream, but no cheesecake!...............

Does that mean you have to go to a cheesecake den down by the waterfront?

It boggles the mind, but if you’re ok with being denied something that you might like to have once every 5 years, far be it from me to interfere.
As a side note, I’ve just asked my husband if there’s something he’d like to have that I don’t make or buy for him. His answer was ice cream, but while I don’t buy ice cream every week, there’s usually some kind of ice cream dessert available, and when we run out, it’s back on the grocery list. Happy hubby, happy life! (Doesn’t rhyme, but it’s the corollary to the more commonly used phrase.)
