This shortage has been going on for two years, so it’s not just high demand. I have a hard time believing they haven’t been able to increase producton in that time. Maybe they don’t want to bother since the US patent on semaglutide expires in two years.

Point noted. Waiting for the experation to come out with the next best drug, at rediculaous prices, might cost them money. But I think they are going from moey to power and more money if they can get the patent. Keeps them in business and growing in the long run.
