Why don't we have a contest to see who can register the most unregistered voters????

I love that pink. That's the color story of my summer wardrobe. That being said, those shoes would sell well in Vegas.

I must confess, I read the People piece on Julia and her wedding, ugh. The bridegroom wore tan pants and a red ruffled shirt. Yup, that what I want my husband to wear to our wedding...

Say, isn't this Princess Caroline's husband? He's looking awfully chummy here with Elle. He may be a hard dog to keep on the porch, as Hitlery said about her own "husband" once.

Pink, pink, pink! Beautiful with your red hair, as I remind my own daughter!

I do everything the opposite of what the ' experts ' say that redheads should wear. I never wear brown, olive, orange. Those just make you look like a big brown ugly tree.

Women are the peacocks of the world. We all look better in splendid color.

They're a little too chummy if you ask me. There is a photo around here somewhere that my husband took of me and his best friend at Seven Springs. He has his arm around my shoulder, but my body certainly isn't turned toward his. And what's with the matching outfits?

...what about getting all the registered pubbies off their duffs and into the booths?

I hope and pray that I do not know, or associate, with anyone who is not a registered, voting, right thinker.

In fact, I want fewer voters, not more. If the poll tax were brought back, or the literacy test, it would not sadden me.

...see who can register the most unregistered voters...

Hmmm...interesting challenge. You know a great place to register voters is where immigrants get sworn in as new citizens.

IG, how was your stint at the fair in the Pubby booth?

That's one reason why I never excelled in the color analysis biz. I've always held the opinion that people should wear whatever color they like. Brown, orange and olive can be very boring. Clothes should fit the wearer's personality, you're not a dull, drab kind of woman.

You hit on a hot issue with me. I think that if you don't own property, you have no business in voting in a millage. Where is the fairness in renters voting on giving away my money from my property taxes?

Not a bad idea. I'll try my best to round up a few.

Speaking of the Royal family of Monaco, Princess Stephanie has a new boyfriend and it is her Father's butler. You remember, Stephie's last BF was a circus trainer and she travelled Europe in an Airstream camper with him and her kids who have a variety of Fathers, I think.

Milk??? Good gosh, Mr. Teacup and I usually end up poring out milk after it's gone bad. But with the kids here??? Oh man! A gallon of milk every other day.

No good Billy news to report. Everything that might help the situation is in play right now, and we are in a wait and see period. The husband continues to come for the baby with his mistress. MiniT took pictures of this yesterday and the mistress tried to hide her face. I guess she doesn't like playing the part of a home wrecker, LOL.

Agreed. 'nuff said.

Just don't say it outloud.

Most renters, and many property owners, simply DO NOT UNDERSTAND what a bond issue means to their wallet - I didn't in my younger years.

A bond issue for whatever noble, or ignoble, the cause, is just another tax that the issuing authority will extract outta our wallets. Directly or indirectly - they will have yet another pound of our fiscal flesh.

As long as we keep electing goverment puds on any level, whose salary and benefits outstrip whatever is the local average income for that district, we are in deep caca.

When the ruling class can do what they are now doing - everyone please practice Grabbing your Ankles on a daily basis. We're screwed, blued, and tatooed.

Our country was founded on a ton less outrages than these - the king on asked 3% taxation. What are you paying these days? Think about it. JL

Before I offer some ideas on registering people to vote who will vote the "right" way - someone has to talk me outa my anti-government funk from today.

Any takers?

I am a student of history - especially the history of communism - and I do NOT LIKE the little TIPS program OR the ending of the Posse Commitatus (sp?) situation - despite the fact that under this administration, we know we don't have worries about abuse of power. It is not the BUsh administration I am concerned about. IT is the Hitlery administration - should the world cave in and the Witch every come to power.

People must understand - she is a desciple of Stalin.

EVERYTHING that we are doing now that ends personal freedom is one more step down the path to a modern police state - much like the "third way" Communist China with their little laogai nestled out in the countryside with slave laborers and with neighborhood "party" snitches in EVERY corner of EVERY village who reports to the government EVERY move and word that is "unpatriotic" (anti-Communist).

We say it could never happen here - and I understand the dangers that are out there - but it seems NO ONE cares about the plunge day by day to something that will resemble a communist or Nazi country if it is not stopped. All it takes is one ruthless dictator type person. And WE ALREADY HAVE THAT PERSON!!! PERILOUSLY CLOSE TO POWER!!!

So, talk me out of this worry - ok - and then I can regain some enthusiasm for registering right thinking individuals to vote.

Oh, and one more gripe - Dick Armey - who has been a favorite of mine in the past - defending the automatic $5000 pay increase for Congresspeople who only work Tues through Thursday and who take about six months of vacation/holiday time off - including the whole month of August - and they say they need a pay increase. I am not impressed and am this close to saying forget it to the "campaign" for this fall. Not one more penny and not one bit of effort for the governmental "elite" among us. Sorry but that's where I am. Now, talk me out of it.

"mistress tried to hide her face..."

You're being way too polite. The correct term is "shack-up sweetie".
