A lot of levity has been circulated about Jim Garison. When I was a kid I listened to Garison interviewed on a Dallas radio station. At the time I marveled at Garison's claim that five people he was trying to interview died mysteriously in close proximity to the interviews. I don't remember clearly, but as I reacall one was shot with a shotgun. One bled to death from falling through a plate glass window. One fell down some stairs. These might not be totally accurate, but the deaths were these types of events. The radio host seemed to think Garison was on to something. I know he's been discredited for the most part, but I haven't dismissed his comments completely.

This series is definitely interesting. Do you think that the CIA or FBI played a role? Furthermore, do you see a link between Russia and the MAFIA and the foresaid agencies? How does Oswald fit in?

Yes his election was definately suspect. But I do give Nixon high marks for not creating the same atmosphere that Gore did in 2000. And Nixon had far more right to do so.

After Nixon's actions in 1960, I'm not sure why you refer to "Win at Any Price" Nixonians. 1960 stands diametricly opposed to that label.

So make your point. I have no idea what your reference to '1960 action' means.

I see oswald as involved, and perhaps even as a shooter. - But the lone gunman theory is ludicrous, from the magic bullet 'evidence' presented by the Warren report itself.
Other than that, I've seen no other really convincing theories advanced to date.

In 1960 it was well known right away that Chicago and Texas were problematic. Voting irregularities existed. Nixon did know this. His people urged him to refrain from conceding until the truth came out. Nixon would have none of it. He said something to the effect that the nation needs to see this as an orderly transition. It would cause too much turmoil to challenge. Nixon proceded to concede. He lost by something like 100,000 vote overall, but it was very close in the districts in question.

That's about all I remember of it.

I thought you were probably aware of this and only hinted at it in 43. Sorry you didn't understand what I was referencing.

Ok, nixon was realistic in '60.

- Doesn't change the fact that 'win at any price/go along to get along', became the Rino cry by '68, when they passed the GCA, & finally elected tricky dicky, who will go down as clintons rival for worst prez.
Reagan tried to restore a little sanity to the party, but failed.
And here we are, staring 1984 in the face.

To believe that Oswald was the lone gunman is to ignore way too much evidence to the contrary. This could all be put to rest IF we exhumed JFK"s body and performed a REAL autopsy. We might even be lucky enough to find his brain there and get an accurate picture of the wound path. ..... NAAAAAH! That makes way too much sense.
