I couldn't believe that story about the wheat. Sounds like the Europhile Canadians of the east are going to petition to join the EU. But if the farmers grow marijuana, then can sell to whomever they want, correct?

The ONLY thing we can do Maureen is for West to Separate. We have all the resources and oil anyway. Chretien continues to rob Alberta and Klein has had it with him. Alberta has a HUGE surplus and is a booming economy as was B.C. before the NDP. B.C. is coming back tho and we are very resource rich also. With Ontario and Quebec in the mix we, in the West or the Conservatives cannot get rid of the Liberals. That is because of the unfair seat structure. The Liberals literally give everything to Quebec and pay them to stay in Canada if they want their 75 seats. The only hope is that KYOTO which Chretien has said HE and HE alone is going to ratify is going to destroy Alberta's and our economies. The Premiers of the Provinces demanded a meeting with Chretien BEFORE he ratifies Kyoto and he said NO. I'll meet with you after. Klein and Campbell etc. are outraged and we'll see what happens. The West needs to leave this Country unless Ontario grabs a brain. They just might now because Kyoto is going to wreck their economy also. Not a pretty picture is it. It's such a shame because Canada is such a beautiful, clean and spacious Country. Not all the stories you hear are true. I find most American's unless they have been here and lived here for awhile don't have a clue about it. Maligne Interceptor or Eric lived in B.C. for several months and just loved it.

I stopped in Eddie Wilson's lastest Threadgill's for lunch today and looked to see if I made any of the almost ceiling to floor pics of us sitting on the 'dillo floor doing what we did while the bands played on. Hard to believe that many years have passed.
