They did a wonderful job of landscaping...

You know...it says something about how long this winter is dragging on, I guess, but my very first thought on seeing that picture was "look at all those STEPS you'd have to shovel show off of!"

It IS nice, though. Love that big deck, too! I'm thinkin' music parties myself, but in any case, it looks like a great place for some outdoor cooking!

The Missus likes it cuz it's an open floor plan... the front room, dining room and kitchen are all one "Great Room", with double doors going out to the tiled sunroom...

Yeah, that sounds great. It'll need to be a couple of weeks tho. Need to get the little one through his surgery.

At this point, I would trust either one of us totally $#@%-faced to drive before I'd put Jr. behind the wheel.

We're gettin' nowhere with that boy. He's gonna be doing 8th grade all over again, either this summer or next year.

Sun sells a version of Solaris which runs on PCs, you can order it from their website at www.sun.com. IIRC it costs $20 or $25. But, as Lil'freeper said, I wouldn't recommend it to someone not already familiar with some flavor of Unix.

Thanks for the info, Bear. Someday I'd like to set up a Unix box of some sort, just to goof around with. I've worked with Solaris before, but I don't know how to do much beyond the basic getting around sort of stuff...the sort of commands they'd teach you in Unix 101, I guess! Basic administration, but not much more.
