Hmmm... That's one of the things I like about the show, the familiarity between Trip and Archer. On the flipside, and also enjoyable on a level of realism, is the friction between Tucker and Reed. These two guys want to be friends, but Reed's too uptight for Tucker, and Tucker's too laid back for Reed.

Agreed. B5 is the best. Mike Stryzinski (sp?), the writer, producer of B5 also made himself available on the B5 Usenet newsgroup. A class guy. The graphics on B5 blew away anything Star Trek has ever done, and the diversity of aliens (the universe need not be populated by humanoid intelligence exclusively) was refreshing.
