I don't know why I do this to myself, but I've just spent a little time over at DU. Ouch...what haters they are. To their way of thinking, Bush crawled out on the launchpad two weeks ago and loosened a few heat shield tiles on the Shuttle just so he could get some good PR. I also noticed their main page is all vanities...no news articles/editorials for discussion. Just their own, individual, stupid opinion posts. It's just a cesspool of hate. I wonder if a newbie coming to FR sees us the same way?

I am steaming mad!! All these idiot democrats on the air today talking about the space program not having enough money, so we have to take money away from the DEFENSE DEPARTMENT because it's flush with cash and divert it to NASA!!

Excuse me, Congressman..... but it was MISTER IMPEACHED CLINTON that cut funding to NASA by 40 freakin' percent!!!!

And not to mention that the Defense Department is fighting things called WARS because that imbecile Clinton never took care of business in his 8 years in office.

Sorry for the rant, I am a little on edge from all these morons.
