The most obnoxious moment in television history was when Al Gore showed up at the first Bush/Gore debate in 2000 wearing so much makeup that he looked like a transvestite.

An UGLY transvestite! (I have a very visual imagination -- please be careful w/your posts!) LOL!

Your not the only one bro.

If there ever were Sirens leading captain and crew to certain death upon the rocks, she'd be the lead singer.

That woman is one SEXY lady. And precisely because everything is a mystery about her. (plus she's good looking too. that always helps.)

Fleetwood Mac members infered that they were amazed at the stupidity of the choice of that song. They wrote "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" about a break up.

Not to mention the July 4th etc celebrations that use "Born in the USA" by Bruce Springsteen...

I got in a little hometown jam
And so they put a rifle in my hands
Sent me off to Vietnam
To go and kill the yellow man

Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man says "Son if it was up to me"
I go down to see the V.A. man
He said "Son don't you understand"

I had a buddy at Khe Sahn
Fighting off the Viet Cong
They're still there, he's all gone
He had a little girl in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms

Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I'm ten years down the road
Nowhere to run, ain't got nowhere to go

Stevie Nicks is a little old, a little overweight, and a little liberal. But I still have the hots for her.

To this day, whenever I hear her name, I can't help but think of one of my favorite punk records from the late 70's

>>"Look everyone, I haven't had a decent single in what, 25 years? So my agent says I should say something shocking about the current bimbos. Hello? Is this thing on?"<<

If you think Stevie Nicks is not extremely popular right now, which is tribute to the staying power of her talent and songwriting ability, or that she "needs" the publicity, you have another thing coming.

Stevie Nicks will be remembered long after these talentless idiots are dead, buried, and forgotten.

I think she had some unflattering things to say about Clinton at the time, although she stopped short of saying she planned to vote Republican.

Huh? She performed at their inauguration:

BTW, notice the two sexual predators standing side by side.

At the time, Nicks said of Clinton, "I think he lacks the maturity to be President."

And this was RIGHT AFTER he got in office.

Stupid, she ain't.

Madonna sucking out the life out of Britney -- Britney will regret that kiss. Madonna will go on reinventing herself.

IMO (which is even less humble than yours on this topic, LOL): Madonna is not a talented singer, and Spears is only slightly more talented than she is. Christina Aguilera, however, really CAN sing. Many of her tunes suck, but she has chops, and she has serious command of her voice. Now if she would only do something about that hooker-chic thing she's got goin' on. : )

I suspect that this doesn't bode well for Britney's career.

Not only that, I imagine it is not shocking to *anyone*.

Just cheap, transparent show-biz schlock.

Madonna is nothing but an aging bore.

Am I the only one on the thread who thinks Christie McVie has a better (though less interesting) voice?

BTW....in "Googling" to double check my spelling of Christie, I found this pix of Stevie at a July 2003 concert.

Looks like she really did lose quite a bit weight.

Notice how Bill won't bend down for a smooch in the pic? Smart guy as Hill must have tuna fish breath.
