Perhaps, but in the minds of the middle-of-the road folks...
Let's just say Howard Dean is going to need to find a way to talk Saddam out of this mess...

Just finished reading this fantastic thread. I've seen a streaming headline on FoxNews several times today, and I think last night which said that the UN's latest report indicates that Al-Queda has chemical and biological weapons but not the means to deliver them! Couple that with this thread! Whew! Thank God for GWB and his team! I don't even want to think what kind of condition we'd be in if Al Gore had won. Sure hope Limbaugh and Hannity covers this Monday.

We already had documented proof of an Al-Qaeda - Iraq relationship:
The proof that Saddam worked with bin Laden" Iraqi intelligence documents discovered in Baghdad by The Telegraph have provided the first evidence of a direct link between Osama bin Laden's al-Qa'eda terrorist network and Saddam Hussein's regime.
Papers found yesterday in the bombed headquarters of the Mukhabarat, Iraq's intelligence service, reveal that an al-Qa'eda envoy was invited clandestinely to Baghdad in March 1998.
The documents show that the purpose of the meeting was to establish a relationship between Baghdad and al-Qa'eda based on their mutual hatred of America and Saudi Arabia. The meeting apparently went so well that it was extended by a week and ended with arrangements being discussed for bin Laden to visit Baghdad.

This is truly disturbing. Our intelligence can't be this bad and fabricated. This is a blatant puff piece that could not get close to passing the rules of evidence. Are we this desperate? You're trashing the piece yet don't have one substantive argument to make against it. None of your sentences seem to even have any logical connection with one another. Geez, you sound like a liberal/Clinton administration/Moveon.org type BS artist or something.

They will eat their words... Our President is compiling all of their lies, and will address them when the time is right.
I can't wait.

I distinctly remember the look at Senator Jay Rockefeller's face. Seems as though he subsequently overcame his concerns in time to join his fellow Dims in full force partisan attacks to undermine GW (and by extension, WE THE PEOPLE) vis a vis terrorism and national security. What utter fools these people are...

I can't believe it. They actually posted it? The die-hards when faced with reality, usually scamper to denial and back to dreams.
