Thank you so much for your hard work jveritas!
If this doesn't make the MSM sit up at take note of the rest of the documents (other than Russia), especially CNN, I don't know what will. Will be interesting to see how CNN spin's this.
Thanks for the translation.
We all remember, when it came out that CNN was allowing Saddam to dictate them what and how to cover.
More proof of CNN aiding and abetting the enemy.
Clearly Saddam believed he had friends at CNN. As I have stated before it is only a matter of time before these documents reveal the names of Congress folks, nations, businesses and individuals who were complicit in Saddam's reign of terror.
I wonder what's in this one. From the title it sounds like it might have something in it in collaboration between Saddam and Al Qaeda.

TRAITORS!
Saddam sez "Let me be the first to welcome Boosh to the White House and say, It's Boosh's fault! Get me CNN."
Has anyone looked to see if CNN did cover the mass graves in 2001?
I think I'll go google and/or lexis-nexis.

Read Jeff Head's book...Dragon's Fury. He has a media guy who sold out his country as well.
Paging Peter Arnett!!
JVERITAS You Are Incredible!!! There is no way we can thank you for all that you are doing!
I encourage every single FReeper to spread the word about these documents and the translations. If you have a blog - post it. Email everyone you can think of. This is the only way the truth will get out cause the media knows that this undermines their years of Bush bashing.
What about CBS? Didn´t Dan Rather have an interview with Sadaam shortly before the war?
bttt
Just Damn? Maybe? Perhaps?
Wasn't it Eason Jordan who, in a fit of conscience, came clean publically with the "deal" CNN had with Saddam in order to continue it's Baghdad office? The same Eason Jordan who was subsequently caught telling lies overseas to other journalists and forced to "resign"?
That CNN, eh? (wink-wink, nod-nod)
Ah, Peter Arnett. I'd forgotten about that bloke. Able to look the camera straight in the eye and lie like a rug.
More Good riddance!
It was 2003, right before the war, I want to say February.
