Glenn Beck Has Completely Lost It
http://www.glennbeck.com/ ^ | 1/6/2014 | Me

Posted on 01/06/2014 3:54:09 PM PST by Viennacon

I am concluding that Glenn Beck has either lost his mind, or is slowly becoming a leftist. Today on his site are two rather disturbing videos. The first in which he continues his crusade to support GLAAD, comparing Russia's law protecting minors from homosexual propaganda to the Holocaust, and blowing up incendiary comments made by a Russian actor for no apparent reason other than to help push the narrative of permanent victimhood that the homosexual lobby thrives on. Here, we can be treated to Glenn engaging in left wing obfuscation more likely to be used by Al Sharpton than any conservative. Glenn says GLAAD are a cartoon to him. Well, they arent' a cartoon to the Christians they have maligned and smeared over the years, aiding foul disgusting individuals like Dan Savage. Like the Freedom From Religion Foundation, GLAAD is a cultural terrorist organization. It does not seek to blow buildings up, but to take a sledgehammer to cultural institutions to forward a deranged agenda of warped tolerance. Glenn closes by declaring some of 'us' have lost our humanity. Give 'us' a break. This is a non-story.

But this is not all. Not only has Glenn continued full steam ahead with this empty cry of persecution in Russia, he also has written a heartfelt letter of understanding to none other than MSNBC's resident corn-rowed doofus, Melissa Harris-Perry. You'll recall Melissa has been embroiled in controversy since she and left wing comedians on a panel made some pretty disgusting remarks about the Romney's adopted grandson, who is black. Glenn is asked if its the same as Alec Baldwin's recent firing for his remarks off-set, and he merely brushes it aside saying 'Alec Baldwin is a bad man'.... really? And what exactly makes Melissa a 'good person at heart'? Is it her disgusting remarks about unborn children, or her wish to have people's kids removed from their families as property of the state? Is Martin Bashir a good guy, or a bad guy? I don't know where the hell this came from, but its ridiculous. Perry was exposed on that panel for the wretched demagogue she is, a phony race-baiter, and a sniping untalented stooge with zero moral foundation. If she's fired, good riddance. She's not a good person, she's a left wing statist with Stalinist positions on just about everything.

It's been a long time coming, but it's now quite clear Beck has abandoned conservatives, but he'll no doubt be calling them back just as soon as he has an announcement to announce. And I used to really enjoy his take on things.

Listen to the video on his site. He goes a lot further than that, with baseless comparisons and liberal sliming of Russia, not just the guy who said that, who was only an actor.

Putin isn’t going to put gays into ovens. He wants to protect children from homosexual propaganda. Not quite the same thing, is it?

Why take on Russia?

I mean, shouldn’t he evaluate which countries in the world have the all time toughest laws against homosexuality and promote them from the top?

There is serious, official persecution going on in Russia.

Not my problem. I'm concerned about the serious, official persecution here.

Just commented on Beck and this issue a few days ago. I used to listen to Beck’s radio show quite frequently. Even drove four hours and paid good money to see him give a speech/presentation in Tyler, TX a few years ago. But the moment, over a year ago, when Beck started expressing how he was fine with homo marriage, I turned him off and hadn’t listened to him a single minute ever since.

... Until today. I was in my car, waiting for a relative who was at a doctor’s visit, and turned on the car-radio. I listened to about five minutes of him blathering on about “loving” everyone, and how he’d continue to stand with GLAAD versus some unknown Russian actor... making a big deal about all that while basically saying the Duck Dynasty flare-up was a big nothing, with Beck blathering on in his sloppy, emotional ‘kumbaya’ mode. Couldn’t stomach it, and turned it off after about five minutes.

Man, I just can’t take Beck at ALL anymore. He can go ahead and stand with the perverts of GLAAD all he wants. The very type of scumbags who’ve helped turn America into such a deviant sewer. I’m far more impressed with Putin and his actions, demonstrating he’s interested in the survival of his country and its culture. He sees America rotting and decaying towards oblivion, and obviously doesn’t want his country to share the same fate.

Yes, and I can just see a point where Glenn become the RINOS he bemoans, and begins thinking Rob Portman is a man of virtue.

There is serious, official persecution going on in Russia. Do you approve?

You've made a statement of fact vs. a statement of opinion.

Please prove your point with facts or post about something you actually know about.

Newt screwed up bigtime. Newt can no be trusted. His sail follows the wind. Scozzafava was his.

This is why we get shitty candidates. Holding a stupid meaningless decision like Scozzafava against our best standard bearers. You don’t see the left holding Benghazi, Whitewater, or Hillarycare against their front runner. Now Romneycare... That’s something to hold against somebody. Sitting on a couch with pelosi? Not so much.

I agree. I used to like listening to his show. Now, I haven’t got a clue about which direction he’s coming from or which direction he’s going.

Well, Charlie Manson is for clean air and water.

That don’t mean I’m gonna stand with him.

Glenn should get fitted for a pair of water skis.

Why would an American libertarian have anything at all to say or do regarding how Russia runs their state?

If you could seriously have asked that question forty or fifty or sixty or seventy years ago, it would have meant there was something seriously wrong with libertarians (or maybe with you?).

If it was right for Americans concerned about liberty to speak up against foreign governments that they felt infringed on the rights of their citizens then, can it be wrong today?

I'm not saying Beck is right to take the side he takes on this. I really couldn't care one way or the other. To my view, the Russian government didn't go too far.

But if being a libertarian means taking a blind eye to what you think to be violations of rights overseas -- if libertarian liberty stops at the water's edge -- than maybe something is wrong with libertarianism.

There’s no excuse for knocking Russia for protecting it’s children.

We tolerate him because any day now he’s going to blow the lid off the secrets which will take down the Obama regime brick by brick. /s Thanks Viennacon.

Don’t forget he always considered Jon Huntsman’s billionaire father a brilliant man. I saw the old toad on with Cavuto back about the time of Cruz’s filibuster, and he was just egregious on the tea party. So, Huntsman gives Beck a wad of bucks to keep his head above water, but hands him the script.

I wrote Beck off as a nutjob way back when he was on Fox and kept pushing this narrative about how the Muslim version of the Messiah was going to unite the entire Islamic world against the west and it was going to happen within months resulting in a World War..

Strawman BS. I wasn’t aware Russia/Putin had that on the agenda. Muslims do though

There was some lawmaker in Russia who said they should put them in ovens. Beck was just saying that's wrong.
