Have you ever done a Google Image search on the acronym OWK?

You show a cultural bias against the Southern interests. Sorry for the delay in responding to you.
No, I have no bias against southern interests, perhaps you could fairly say I am not proud of the darker side of it's past. My family is from the south for several generations on both sides. I know what it was. I know what it is. I prefer the progress it has made.

I think I actually hear violins in the background. Me too.
That was my point.
And between you, me, and the fencepost.... it's clear that you've adopted a policy of voting republican (and unfailingly promoting same) as the best vehicle of preventing socialist encroachment.
I (and others) happen to think that isn't working so well. (as I'm sure you're aware)
If you want to adopt a policy of "no dissent whatsoever" as what's best for your website, that's obviously your choice. It is after all, your website. But that doesn't seem to be what you are doing as far as I can tell. (as evidenced by the fact that I'm still here).
But you may want to tell that to the cadre of butt-smoochers who come running out from behind the folds of your coat to lob grenades at anti-big-government folks who hold an opinion different from yours.
Honestly Jim, it comes across as childish nonsense.

If all of you Unhappy Conservatives leave the Republican party, you will be replaced by members of the middle who will no longer be afraid of being Republicans. My SWAG on this is we gain at least five for every one of you we lose. Wooohooo!
Five leftists join, for every conservative lost.
What a policy.
Maybe if you keep at it.. you'll have Kennedy and Lieberman wearing elephant jewelry soon.
Keep hope alive.

Polling data in '92 showed that the second choice of a majority of Perot voters was Clinton. That means without Perot in the race, Clinton wins by a bigger margin. Look it up, Bush lost because he ran a horrible campaign, and neglected to identify Clinton as a leftist.

"Polling data in '92 showed that the second choice of a majority of Perot voters was Clinton."That only proves the point I've been making all along, they're Democrats in sheep's clothing.
"Bush lost because he ran a horrible campaign, and neglected to identify Clinton as a leftist."
Or, Perot supporters failed to see the obvious, as those who think getting Kerry, or Edwards, elected are failing to see the obvious.

I (and others) happen to think that isn't working so well. (as I'm sure you're aware)" That's right, your (and those others) tactic of losing elections to Democrats works much better, as witnessed by the tremendous gains in stopping the advance of socialism during the eight years of Bill Clinton that came about as a result of voting for someone other than a Republican.
"Honestly Jim, it comes across as childish nonsense."
Poppycock!

but if it was questioning the motives of a Bush Basher who posts nothing but negativity, I don't.Post #680 did nothing of the sort, did it Jim and Mike? You both know what it said. The poster is not a 'Bush Basher', is he?
