After being inundated with calls from L.A. listeners, Asa Hutchinson has agreed to go on the show. He's on right now, so be there or be square. Will try to type the good stuff while I listen.
Bump, should be fun.
ping
John: "ARE we going to get more interior illegal alien sweeps or not?" Hutchinson goes on about Wal-Mart...John: "How many employers have actually been indicted for hiring illegals?" Hutchinson laughs nervously and goes back to Wal-Mart. John is really going after him!
FRegards,
Asa Hutchinson babbling but saying nothing. You GO, John! Tell him!
Asa Hutchinson is a huge disappointment....
Admitting the United States cannot protect our borders from migrants or terrorists.
...typical politician
Asa Hutchinson: "It's difficult to have a reasonable conversation with you because you keep interrupting me." "Should I pull border patrol agents out of Arizona when they are apprehending 16,000 a week to put them in California?"
I will take Asa Hutchinson's expertise in these matters over these two any day of the week.
reference bump.
This is great! I love these guys, they are wiping the floor with him. Wish I had time to give you all a blow by blow! Got an appointment. If anyone know these guys give them a big hug!
Considering that the American people aren't willing to put up the money and personnel needed, that's a true statement. In case you didn't notice, we have about 19,900 miles of borders and coastline to secure.
If you just closed the Mexican border off, that still leaves 17,800 miles of border and coastline wide-open.
they will probably replay it on the 6 oclock hour
Now, back to our show.
Welcome to the republican party of the 21st century.
Amnesty for Illegals coming to a state near you...
I'm listening. John & Ken are two rude punks.
I think i will cut up my RNC card and mail it in....
That's a very telling quote. Notice he did not say We ARE enforcing the immigration laws of our country.
Which is why I stopped listening to them a long time ago.
Hutchinson: "I'm not prepared to announce on the air when we are prepared to being interior enforcement efforts (sweeps)." "We've spent all this money on Iraq, why aren't we spending any on the border? You know the next time we are struck we are going to hear about some guy who got in over our border. You simply do not do your job!"
Hutchinson has no California numbers. John cites our $5 billion in taxes, closed hospitals, long lines everywhere, traffic, etc., and the rest of the ills foisted on us by these jerks because they won't do their jobs.
Hutchinson: "I've been happy to come on your show so you can dialogue with your listeners." Hutchinson gives gobbledegook answers. Will NOT announce that any sweeps will continue. John: "The truth in you are not going to do it because you've caved in to the Mexican government and you've given me the gobbledygook that you used to criticize the Clinton administration for. OUR LISTENERS WANT TO HEAR THAT THE BORDER PATROL SWEEPS WILL BE RESTARTED. Yes or no, are you going to be restarting them?"
Doesn't answer the question, says "Our enforcement efforts will continue." John: "That's not answering the question, but it's the answer I expected. Thanks for coming on the show."
Show over now. Great effort, John Cobylt.
Golly! Ol' Ira probably won't wanna walk into that buzzsaw again any time soon.
John and Ken were terrific.. about time some body pinned down this lame guy... I am fed up with illegals here..and every where.. Wish he would of said he would allow people to call in with where about of illegals.. I could give him a few right now.. employers too..
Not before the election, they won't.
Duhbya wants their votes and will do anything to get them.
It's their schtick.
You did not STOP listening or you would not be listening now....you cannot have it both ways..
That was, in no way, an intelligent and serious discourse. It was a hit job by bully boys.
Do you live in Southern California?
Whao also seem to never to have a bad word for their home state Senators, Feinstein or Boxer, who seem to be meddling in Homeland security. Also their biggest defenders on FR never seem to have any criticism of them either.
San Diego Union-Tribune - AP ^ | 25 June 2004 | Ben Fox
ONTARIO(CA) A series of Border Patrol arrests of illegal immigrants more than 50 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border will be reviewed by the Department of Homeland Security at the request of members of Congress, officials said Friday.
Hutchinson needs to be fired!
I drove through the I-5 border check (it was closed) last week and ther were over 30 border patrol cars parked there.
Every one of them should have been out rounding up illegals.
I hope that after that evasive interview that he just gave his office is totally flooded with calls and mail.
There are no radio pitbulls more effective than John and ken.
fyi
I'm not listening now. I was quoting the poster before me. I haven't listened to John and Ken since two years before I left California. They're arrogant, rude people.
Yup. Of course, John and Ken also coordinated a denial-of-service attack against the Department of Homeland Security's communications.
I'm listening on KFI's webstream. I don't need to live in Southern California to make a comment on the professionalism, and fairness, of an interview. It was a set up to appease the mouth frothers, and from the responses by some on this forum, mission accomplished. You guys wanted your pound of flesh, you got it. But it was YOU and YOUR political priorities - as represented by these two goofballs - that came out looking bad.
When the White House attempted to squash the discussion it really pissed a lot of people off.
>>>That was, in no way, an intelligent and serious discourse. It was a hit job by bully boys
Then you must be pleased as punch that the republican party is doing everything possible to legitimize the illegals already here including making secret agreements to allow them to receive SS benefits, right?
It's for a good cause!!
He did a good job. In a way, I'm glad that Ken is off this week. Two people bothering poor ol' Asa would've been too much. Asa was dodging and weaving like a little kid who has to pee.
Good. If I had the opportunity to talk to Asa Hutchinson face-to-face, I'd be rude too. The American people are frustrated and angry regarding illegal immigration.
And it seems they are puupy dogs when it comes to their home state democrat party Senators, Feinstein and Boxer.
So THANK YOU John Cobylt.
"John and Ken also coordinated a denial-of-service attack against the Department of Homeland Security's communications."
I hope they can have it happen daily until they change their ways.
I drove by there yesterday on I-5. There was an old van with some hispanics sitting on the ground outside it, surrounded by border control cars. The check point was closed, but maybe they were racial profiling instead. Whatever, it looks like it might have paid off yesterday.
U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft will be in Phoenix Friday to announce new federal resources being dedicated to prosecute illegal immigration and trafficking cases in Arizona.
Ashcroft and U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl will announce the expanded effort Friday.
Kyl, an Arizona Republican, heads the Senate Judiciary Committee's panel on terrorism and homeland security.
Since 9/11, and with increased border security in Texas and California, Arizona has seen a large increase in illegal border crossings and smuggling.
The Bush administration has dedicated more security resources to the border, although some Arizona lawmakers want to see the pace of that effort increased.
I've never heard a cross word against Feinstein and Boxer from either John or Ken.
I don't know. I used to listen to them daily, but coulnd't bear John's rants too much. I like Ken. I switched to Larry Elder.
