Well..
When threads got above 30k posts, the server tended to have issues.
So we stopped doing that and began moving on a month to month basis.
It was an effort on our part to NOT crash, crush, spindle, fold, flibble, or otherwise rankle the servers.
Since I haven’t been on a thread that got above 5k posts in awhile, I don’t know through observation what will happen.
