My 'girls night out' is playing bunco.
This past weekend I watched the Bunco World Championship in Las Vegas. Didn't know there was such a thing.
One girl went to watch her friend play in the tournament and her friend convinced her she might as well play instead of just watch. She did and won the grand prize...$50,000.

Wonder what Greta could possilby add to the interview? Could it be just a recap of what we aready know?

Yes, I expect it to be a recap with snippets of the interview and panel discussion. Greta mentioned this earlier this week and said the reason for doing this special is because of many requests to rerun the interview.

I'm curious to see if anyone has changed their position since they've had time to actually study the interview.
If they miss all of the discrepancies we've uncovered, then Greta needs to hire a new research staff.

KOCK: There are records to indicate at around 2:00 o'clock already, Deepak is back on the Internet, and from there on up to almost 3:00 o'clock, while the gardener said that at 2:30 — that he's so convinced that at 2:30, he saw the three of them next to the racquet club. So it's just physically, that's impossible.

Does that mean Deepak was off the computer at 'almost 3:00 o'clock'? If so, he answered Joran's IM at around 3:30?

If Deepak was home on his pc by 2am, then why did Deepak go asking for an alibi once he heard the gardener's testimony of seeing him at 2:30am near the Racquet club?

Well, well, well...so who is telling the truth? Did Joran call him or IM him? Did Joran walk hime or did Satish pick him up? SURELY SOMEONE is seeing these contradiction!

Maybe...but, I'm trying to hold out hope for Greta. Maybe she's helping John Q. Kelly? Maybe she asked certain questions to see if Joran had the same responses that are already part of the record? I don't know. It just seems odd that she didn't follow up on some of his responses that didn't make a bit of sense.

Sorry I haven't time to follow as many details as I would like...if Deepak was home and on the computer by 2 am, do we know how long he was supposedly there and on the computer?

Is it possible he wants an alibi because there's wiggle room for him to have left home again and been seen by the gardner at about 2:30 am? BTW, what IS his alibi re: the gardner? Just that he was at home? (Or was there something else? Apologies if I seem "out of the loop".)

I seem to recall there was no proof of that because even his own mother said she reasoned that he must have gone to bed due to some key indicators, but she did not actually SEE him in bed.

I think Greta does have her heart in this.
She did miss asking some questions, but I'm glad she got what she got. We now have Joran on unedited tape contradicting himself within that interview, as well as other interviews he has done.

No matter Greta's reasons, she did a good thing in the long run. Wanting ratings is expected in her business. It's job security. In hind sight, I'd bet Greta is wishing she had asked more questions. And that she'd kept her opinion to herself! For that one she deserves a head slap just like Ted usually deserves.

I'd like to know Joran's answer to what went down between arriving at his home (and not going inside) at 1:15am until the time they left for the beach where he claims to have spent an hour maybe less with Natalee. I noticed while watching Greta tonight that Joran says they went from his home to the beach where he last left her. That hour is unaccounted for unless we are to believe they sat in the car in front of his house for an hour. No way they sat in that car for an hour when Joran had an apartment just inside the fence.

They either spent that time in Joran's apartment or in Deepak's car at another, more secluded location. I vote for the apartment.

You mean left C&C to go straight to Joran's house? When you say dropped Joran off at his house, don't you mean Joran AND Natalee? Sorry...this is getting me confused. Please clarify if you're saying they dropped him off at home BEFORE or AFTER something happened to Natalee.

Thanks. I thought so. So you think Deepak and Satish weren't there when something went down. By there, guess I mean either at Joran's place or at the beach. What do you think is their involvement, that has caused them to lie? What are THEY hiding? Helping get rid of her body? Joran has cast suspicion on THEM in her disappearance, hasn't he? If they had nothing to hide, they might know enough truth to nail Joran and Paulus and free themselves from suspicion. So they MUST have something to hide. What is with Deepak's story about what they supposedly did, and where, with all three of them in the car with Natalee? If they dropped Joran and Natalee at his home right after leaving C&C, why not just say so?

Well, Deepak certainly told a much more complicated story than that one, as well, if I recall correctly after all this time. One thing the police chief better get through his head for sure, THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS AND THERE MUST BE A REASON FOR THEM TO LIE!

I'd have to go back to the Skeeters tapes to see what Deepak might have said. Otherwise, we have Satish's attorney, Kock, claiming computer records showing Deepak online from 2am til 3am. Also, Beth says a girl in Aruba went to the FBI then to ALE with a story about Deepak asking her to alibi for him once he heard the gardener's testimony. Deepak freaked out on the gardener's testimony of seeing him in his car at 2:30am.

So Aruba has another sexual predator on the loose.
Woman says she was beach combing around 6:45am, after daylight, near the fishermen's huts when a man approached her wearing only a collared shirt with sleeves torn off . Blocked her way. Fisherman 30 to 40 yards away were watching. Man tried to back her up towards his car, she moved toward water. Man became more agitated. She escaped after about 4 minutes and ran back to her hotel. Called ALE, sent detective. Said he was wrong detective, sent another. ALE has not contacted her since. TES and Holloway/Twittys tell her the man has been ID'd, license plate ID'd and he's still on the loose. Still no word from ALE.

Deepak did in fact say NaTALIE was a slut on that Skeeter tape even the attorney admits that - in the way she dressed.

Yeah, he admitted it, but in a weaselly way. He said something like "Deepak said something about her manner of dress not being appropriate."
Kock dressed it up as best he could. It sounds nothing like Deepak's actual words of "she dressed like a slut."

I caught part of Megan's interview with Koch. I was sort of in and out during it. Joran's interview left suspicion in some minds that the Kalpoes might have gone to the beach after Joran left and done something to Natalee. Could be why Koch didn't like some of Joran's claims. The boys are ALL ADMITTED LIARS. They even implicated the two black security guards from the get go...an extremely dastardly and serious thing to do. My impression of their subsequent stories is that they have told several versions, but I would have to research exactly what Deepak is on the record with in order to say for sure. No matter, they have proven they will lie in the most severe way, without thought to the consequences to other, even completely uninvolved, people. The tape being edited could only mean that something was taken out. Not that something was invented and put in. Who knows, the edits might make Deepak sound even WORSE. The part about Natalee being a slut was in the context of the interviewer saying well, all three of you probably had sex with her, right? And Deepak seemed to affirm that and launched into how easy it was to have happened because first of all she was dressed like a...etc. etc. I cannot stand Joran or Deepak. They make my blood run cold. I have no image of Satish. Are they hiding him or what?

It was a rushed interview, she didn't get to say all she wanted. I imagine this woman contacted the Holloway/Twitty families once she heard about Natalee and that is how they and TES know about her story.

I doubt it was Joran since she said he was wearing a collared shirt with the sleeves torn off...only. No other clothing. Never seen any pics of Joran in a torn off sleeve shirt.

To me the most interesting part of her story is how ALE is not persuing her complaint. SOP for ALE. For tourist, it's enter Aruba at your own risk.
