I wonder if Carrie cold have been pissed at the embarassment caused by the professionals?
To: gopheraj
Yes, Kellie and Reba would be good together!
To: Netizen
I agree, it could have been 1000 things. It has to be pretty rough to be constantly be aware every second. And put a plastic smile on your face just in case a camera catches you having a thought. A picture 's just a moment in time. She could have had gas for all we know.

Maybe people just want something different. That's how they should market him. of course this is jmho. :)Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!{I kinda feel like Meg Ryan here LOL.} I couldn't agree more. I am sick and tired of the same old manufactured stuff. On radio it's like the same 15 songs are played over & over & over. I don't listen to much radio because I can't stand it. Taylor is such a breath of fresh air. And a lot of people have noticed. His music is from the heart & just genuine. It's not some guy in a suit who has a marketing degree but no clue. What Taylor does is real music. That has been missing for a long time now. It's refreshing.

I enjoyed every second of the show!
Before I even got to work this morning I had two messages on my phone from people calling to congratulate ME for Taylor's win. That might be a sign it's time for me to get a life. But I don't care. I'm still marinating in our victory!
To: silent_jonny
I am so bored! There is nothing on t.v!!! Are you positive you can't start a new thread? Call it boredom busters or something. :)
To: Sue Perkick
:) Oh I totally agree. And the sad thing is right now I'm even tired of talk radio! I am losing all of my outlets.
To: EmilyGeiger
Ace will be on Greta's show again tonight. Oh, I need a new hobby!!
To: andyssister
To: Txsleuth
So do you think they tell him the winner in a mike in his ear? Certainly it doesn't come up on the teleprompter.
To: EmilyGeiger
It's pathetic, really. But at least I'm not having AI thread "withdrawal" yet! It's like hanging out in a nice, safe cave. :)
To: A knight without armor
If I remember right Ryan said he is told earlier in the day. Since the Clay/Ruben thing the card is actually blank because of the peeking potential.

To: andyssister
Yes. I am still extremely happy about the Taylor win. Although I found out how pathetic I am about needing my favorite tv shows to keep me entertained. :( all 3 of my shows ended this week. I need a good book.
To: A knight without armor
No...he said last night, that he knows before the show starts...he just pretends to read the card.
He did say that sometimes the staff write jokes on it..to see if he will laugh...but usually it is blank.
He said that even when they were writing the name on the card...they would still tell him before the show, just in case there was a screw up and the wrong name was printed on the card.
To: SirLinksalot
and I've saved it to my desktop so I can listen to it whenever I want to....I LOVE TAY TAY....the headline of the Mobile Press-Register today (in 4" letters) was "Taylor-Made American Idol"....everyone here in Mobile has gone nuts....

same here - I had about 10 calls last night from friends across the nation and an equal number of e-mails....same thing, all congratulating ME for Tay Tay's win....I thanked them....as if it were me....I was so happy....even my brother - who could care less about Taylor or AI - called this a.m. to let me know he'd watched....he doesn't get Taylor but then I don't get half the crap he listens to....

I wonder if Carrie cold have been pissed at the embarassment caused by the professionals? She may not have been pissed at all. We may just be misinterpreting a momentary look on her face. But most of the pros were pretty embarrassing.

I am still so thrilled! Today I kept imagining what Tay Tay is doing. Probably interview after interview. Gosh! That view of his father standing there so silently proud was so stirring. That and Elliott's mother are like vitamin pills to me. They keep me going!
To: twin2
Thanks! I wouldn't have known that. :)
To: OldFriend
Sorry, when you lose, you leave! Well, she moved back right off after the initial congratulation and Taylor grabbing her hand and raising it. She certainly wasn't stealing the show there.
