My Grandfather just died two days ago. His body was shutting down and decided he did not want to be put on life support. He lasted about 24 hours before passing. Does this mean he is part of a 'death cult' in your eyes?

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your grandfather made a wise decision in his case. It was his time. Did he happen to mention wanting to meet up with his wife? Both my mom and ex mother in law(ex bro in law told me this)stated it was time to be with their husbands. When this happens, it's time to fly home.

As for a blanket term for those who believe it is beneficial to institute euthanasia policies towards the disabled, how about nihilists? I'll try and come up with a couple of better ones, but my brain is in neutral this morning.

My Grandmother is still alive, although just barely. I doubt, especially now, that she will be around much longer. Unfortunately being on the other side of the world I wasn't in a position to see him before he went and probably will not have a chance to see her either. :(
