After listening to the tape, I have to agree. I think he set her up.
Dunno. From what little I've read about the guy, the ratings for his show are low low low. In the interest of boosting those ratings, the best thing he could have done by having Ann Coulter on his show is to hang up on her. Otherwise, it would have been just another appearance by Ann Coulter on yet another radio show.
I believe it was set up. This Adam Crayolla (whatever) is looking for publicity for his pathetic show. He's hoping Ann will make a big stink about him giving the wrong number and then hanging up on her. Hope Ann never says another word about it.
I'm not only use to it, I foster it. Now, re-think your comment and get back to me when you figure out that no where in my comment states that I was chatising Adam Carolla for making fun of the way Ann looks. To aid you in this, I'll repost what I stated-

As you ponder this, you will note that this one sentence simply reports on the remainder of the broadcasted segment.
To get you on track, I'll add- My issue is that in what was broadcasted in the link provided, Adam comes off sounding nasty and Ann comes off sounding flustered.
I wasn't chastising you, just all the holier than thou folks who only get outraged when their ox is gored.
In your own words, not that I'm chastising you or anything,- "get used to it".

But, honestly, if he did this to a liberal, people here would be cheering instead of attacking.
There's nothing else to listen to at that time of the morning. Lee Rodgers & Melanie Morgan - too many commercials. Sarah & No Name - too many sound-effects. Armstrong & Getty - stopped listening to them after their GLEE when Terri died. Air America - no thank you. Live 105 - occasionally, but I can't get the station very clearly. NPR - I only listen to CarTalk. So, it's Carolla or nothing. And often it's nothing.
That said, I would prefer that someone interview Moore and tear him up with facts instead of being childish and hanging up on him. Maybe that's why Moore only does "select" interviews. Coulter talks to anyone.
But more direct to you point- so?
I hope she's silent too. Don't give the idiot any free publicity.
In conjunction with the "so?". Ask yourself "why would people here be cheering" if such a thing happened.
Last I cared to look, michael moore was a lying hack. I may not agree verbatim with Ann, but she hardly compares to michael moore.
I just thought it was funny.
Ah. From your posts, it looks like you loved it because it is Adam's show and Ann was late. She was being all uppity and nasty; a primadonna. And so Adam was right in dumping her.
As for funny- for me, it wasn't funny nor was it dull (obviously, I'm still going on about it). So if anything, I was entertained. : )
It was rude and mean - no excuse for it.
He's not fit to tie her shoelaces.
If that's 'funny' to you, God help ya.
From the looks of his ratings, he's not fit to even own shoelaces, for fear he would hang himself.
