I would guess that this document was produced from the original records in that year because someone (perhaps Obama Sr.) needed proof of Barry's birth for some reason. The Obama divorce took place in 1964 a reason for a the birth registration to be produced.

This is a damn good job if its not real I agree, but not all forgers are as dumb as the one CBS found (or hired.)
The nice thing about this document is that it makes reference to the location of a specific original birth record in the provincial birth register: Book 44B, Page 5733.
So maybe it can be checked against the original.

Two things strike me:
I have 3 children born to a Brasilian Mother, each of them have a similar document where we took their US Birth Certificate and REGISTERED IT in Brasil to register their birth there. They have the opportunity to be brasilian citizens if they ever wanted to (among other advantages).
If that is what this is he could be born in the US and registered later.
HOWEVER, if you look closely the Entry date is August 5th, 1961! In that day and age it would have been physically impossible to be in Hawaii on August 4th, 1961 and in Kenya on the 5th to Enter this document on the record. There were no faxes, email, or any other means to do such at that time. Most curious. This document is at least verifiable.

What is the “Given under My Hand and Seal of Office this 17th day of February, 1964”? Is that when this document was created from the original record? Yes, that's what it looks like.

Yup. None of the information is redacted or blanked out. Therefore it could be pretty easily verified by forensic experts.

***You can point out a lot of discrepancies with photos if they are blatant forgeries . I would guess that team zer0bama will be bringing out the big guns with multiple experts declaring this to be a forgery within 5... 4... 3...
