‘Palinista’ is a derisive term. What if we labeled you an ignorant, insecure, old curmudgeon who appears to have a ‘problem’ with attractive, intelligent, persevering women?

probably the same thing we said when Reagan invited GHWB to be his running mate, then endorsed him 8 years later. There was no love lost between them during the primaries and their ideologies were on opposite ends of the GOP spectrum, but it worked.
Both men were civil individuals who understood that differences within the party are as nothing compared to the differences between parties. Both understood the necessity at times for compromise, a lesson yet to be learned by their would-be philosophical heirs.

No oneis without blemish. I like Sarah very much. Honestly, her statement months ago that she believes that Chairman Mao Obama loves America is far more upsetting to me. I WILL support whoever wins the nomination against Obama, and so should every other American. Bob

No matter what she does, Palin bashers will find something negative to say about it. If she endorses McCain, it’s payback; if she endorses Hayworth, it’s ingratitude; if she declines to endorse either, it’s cowardice.
If she wants to show leadership, she will do what’s best for Arizona and for the rest of us. If she fails to do so, it wouldn’t convince me she could never make a right decision in the future, particularly based on her Alaska record, and even more particularly, when put up against some of the other candidates we saw last time around.

I’ll deal with stupid political moves when they come. My attitude towards Palin is cautious optimism. But I’ll never go to Mitt’s camp.
