McCain_Feingold helped the Dems and hurt the GOP. This is a major reason the Dems took over - that and the liberal TV media beating up on Repubs 24x7x365.
Bush should have veto’ed it.
Here is where you mess up. We have no candidates yet. Easy enough. We do not know who will enter and most all of them have some warts. I get to pick and choose what warts I can tolerate, not anyone else.
I will vote for the most freedom loving conservative i can find and will not worry about the spots in their personal life as long as they will keep it out of the white house.
No one is perfect, so if that is what we are looking for then we just as well give up.
I kicked any of the bones out of my closet years ago.
I am fixing to make sure we kick that marxist bag of bones out of the WH.
Some day we will all know the skeletons in his closet. Maybe literally.
Sarah worshipers need to stop bashing anyone who is not a fellow Sarah worshiper.
They are just trying to level the playing field.
They are just trying to level the playing field.
Then you have missed many comments in numerous threads. And they are not trying to level the playing field, but trying to spin any and every doubt or question concerning Sarah as if every move is beyond question and only Sarah haters would even question her motives.
It's Fredheads redux, to the tenth power.
Some day we will all know the skeletons in his closet. Maybe literally.
But what i meant was that if we have a good American that we can run for the presidency, if he or she is a human being they can not be perfect and are bound to have done something that the news media can use against them,
Even if its no more than chewing gum or maybe they took a puff of pot. or a thousand other things and people will fall for the media,s story on it.
If you dont know why she is selling out to McCain, you dont understand the distasteful term of throwing [a supporter] under the bus.
Palin has a record, so far blemish free, of doing the honorable thing. To refuse to go speak for McCain, after he had facilitated her present national presence, would have been despicably dishonorable.
It is better to do the right thing than to do the best thing. If you hand a checkout clerk a $10 bill and he gives you change for a $100 bill, it is in your best financial interest to leave quick before he realizes his mistake. But it is right for your honor, your self respect, and for the long term viability of your relationship with the business to immediately return the extra money.
Now, quickly: What would Sarah Palin do? To duck her obligation to McCain would be to take the money and run.
