JD Hayworth is the only reason John McCain didn't "reach across the aisle" for the past year on Cap N Tax, Obamacare, Comprehensive Immigration Reform and any number of other atrocities.

Plus, Hayworth wasn't the Tea Party candidate in Arizona. JOHN McCAIN was. Just ask him. Toward the end of the primary, McCain was attacking Hayworth as a 'Washington Insider' and portraying himself as the founder / leader of the Tea Party.

Plus, noted Tea Party spokesperson Sarah Palin campaigned for McCain at the expense of Hayworth. For that matter, so did nearly every Republican within a 20,000 mile radius.

If it wasn't for McCain, it would have been business as usual in Washington the past few months, with RINO's forming gangs of 14 and such and putting their fingerprints all over every piece of legislation, so that it could pass as "bipartisan".

JD Hayworth threw himself on a grenade for all of us, and he deserves the thanks of a grateful nation.

You failed to mention that AZ has an open primary, which means independents can vote in the GOP primary. Most states have a closed primary.
