Exactly, and IATW, the shooter most probably would have been, by law, denied permission to buy a firearm IF his parents, or a friend, or a teacher, or the idiotic mouthy sheriff, had seen to it that he got psychiatric evaluation, counselling and treatment.   (Christina's father has condemned more gun control.)
• Earlier in her speech, Palin proudly told stories about how her children have hunting names associated with Alaska. Bristol is named after Bristol Bay. Piper is named after an airplane, Willow after a stream.
  (None of those names are related to hunting.)
• The kicker is her son Trig. Mommy and Daddy Palin lovingly named him after the part of the gun which fires the weapon. Just pull the trigger.
  (Trig was named after an uncle not a gun part.)
• The fundamental American right to vote is hindered if you have been convicted of a felony or you are mentally incapable of doing so. Gun ownership should have the same standards.
  (Liberals oppose showing ID to vote and want to allow felons still in prison the right to vote.)

I heard an interview with Christina Green’s father. He said Christina wouldn’t want more government restrictions imposed on the people. This journalist is using her name advocating exactly what she - and her family - do not want.
