Ms. Parker,

I guess you think it is all right for our illustrious pubbies to lie to our face for a vote. Then knife the nation and us in the back when they get scared. I am through being betrayed. Any congress critter that voted for this “plan” deserves to be thrown out on his ass in 2012. You see Ms.Parker American Patriots are made of sterner stuff than you and the congress.

RATS need to know this was a serious compromise and conservatives don’t want this plan.

Keep the discussion of what’s in the ‘reasonable’ zone to the right. Compromise to early and you’ve given up ground.

Was the right thing to do to vote against without a BBA.

No new taxes,

These were never on the table before. The Dems added them as a bargaining point, so taking them out wasn't really an accomplishment.

significant spending cuts,

In the same sense that not landing a man on Mars will save us $10 trillion over the next ten years, yes. In the sense of actual money, no.

a temporary debt-ceiling solution

If a temporary debt ceiling solution was important to the GOP, it could have had that by taking an up-or-down vote long ago. It wasn't.

with the possibility of more spending cuts down the line

Which, when we press for them, d-bags such as yourself will excoriate us for.

as well as action on their beloved balanced-budget amendment to the Constitution.

Which was already declared "Dead on Arrival," so it it was nothing at all.

In fine and in sum, Boehner's Bill was no more real than Kathleen Parker's phony conservative credentials. Not one part of it achieved anything.

But it was the best we could do.

Meanwhile, a woman who actually endorsed the gormless tyro now presiding over the destruction of the US economy has the nerve to lecture the rest of us about "disloyalty."

Hey Pot...

The reason?

Palin.

What is she whining about?

She's a member of the WaPo "Writer's" Group. Whining is her job.

The real reason is that she’s a twit.

Yes, she has always been a twit. It’s just more pronounced since then.

She doesn’t even understand that Boehner is a servant or minister of the sovereign, We the People, not our superior officer.

Replace the “i” in twit with an “a” and that would be a more accurate description.

They had victory in their hands and couldn’t bring themselves to support his debt-ceiling plan

Uh, did she get the memo...it PASSED!

“Who’s overplaying their hand now?”

It is a good question.
Rino’s? Dems or Tea Party.

Isn’t the “Tea party” more of a grass-roots
movement than a party at this point?

I’m still predicting a third party movement
where the GOP ends up as the third party. Some day.

I’m so tired of this product Big Media dishes up that is supposed to represent thinking. She’s a dingbat. Dingbats (male and female) should stifle themselves.

With the rhetoric becoming more passionate on each side of our great philosophical divide (and yes, not all Democrats are evil, some are stupid and some just need to be compassionate do-gooders) I am beginning to believe this will all end in a hail of bullets over great desolation.

I never really believed that before.

The greatest social compact in the history of man, the US Constitution, has been broken. The government it has spawned was never intended to act as an agent in the allocation of wealth and resources. It was intended to grant every man liberty and safety in his property.

Those who value original intent will one day revolt. Of that I am sure.

How many bills must the house pass before a crack head realizes a bill has passed ? So far, two was not enough.

If the nation defaults on its financial obligations, the blame belongs to the Tea Party Republicans who fragged their own leader, John Boehner. They had victory in their hands and couldn’t bring themselves to support his debt-ceiling plan, which, if not perfect, was more than anyone could have imagined just a few months ago.

Um, Stupid Lady, maam? It PASSED, you ignorant ho! How can you blame any default (which needn't happen anyway) on their failure to pass Boner's bill when they DID pass it???
