Michael Moore Calls For Police To Join Occupy Wall Street Protests Like Egyptian Army Did In Cairo

Michael Moore on Friday called for police departments across the country to join the Occupy Wall Street protests "the same way the Egyptian army joined the people in Freedom Square there in Cairo."

"My appeal to the police is you are us and we are you," Moore said in a web only video published at MSNBC.com. "We’ll even let you beat on a bongo drum" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

MICHAEL MOORE: My last word here out in the hallway just outside of [Lawrence O’Donnell’s] studio is that the police need to join us. In the same way the Egyptian army joined the people in Freedom Square there in Cairo. This is my appeal to the New York Police Department, the police departments all over the country. You are working class people. You’re not paid enough. You have the most dangerous job in the country, and these rich bastards on Wall Street they have ruined your 401(k)s, your pension funds, your future, your children’s future. Money that should be going to having better law enforcement has gone to needless wars in other lands.

So, my appeal to the police is you are us and we are you, and join us. It’s fun. We’ll even let you beat on a bongo drum. That’s my last word. Thank you.

So a man whose estimated net worth is $50 million is not only inciting people all around the country to rise up against some of America's largest corporations, he is now calling on law enforcement officials to join them.

What could go wrong?

If Michael Moore marched through the streets of Manhattan, people might mistake him for the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from “Ghostbusters.”

“My law enforcement husband says, ‘Go to hell Michael Moore.’”

I’d like to shake your husband’s hand.

So Micheal Moore is advocating overthrowing the Obama government?

And replacing with the Muslim Brotherhood?

Well, if the outcome is we eject Obama the same as Mubarek or Ghaddafi, then we can do that.

I wonder if Moore has used any soap and water lately?

Yeh, just what the average NYC cop dreams of doing; hanging out with a bunch of scuzzy college kids on dope. LOL!

Michael Moore thinks it's OK to kill people he disapproves of.

Shouldn't that cut both ways?

Actually, my first real Tea Party was in NYC on 4/15/09. Thousands did show up. At first I thought we had hecklers.

After a while, I realized it just took a while for the crowd behind us (met up w/ 3 other NY FReepers)to finish, kinda like “the wave” at sports events.

That is when I knew how many showed up. For NYC, it’s a big deal!

Well, that WOULD conveniently identify the cops who're commie statists at heart. The world is watching.

Liberals are drama queens. They really believe their little sit-in, funded by Soros, with paid actors, is somehow “the real thing”. Yeah, right.

The psychology of the crowd is very interesting, very infectious. In the middle of thousands of like-minded souls, it's easy to dream that your tribe is dominant upon the land. This leads to abortive attempts such as the Beer Hall Putsch. Which the anarchists/communists don't mind at all, as long as it leads to the next stage and the next of revolution.

What none of them ever figured was the opposition of a hundred million deer rifles, each an army of one. I can't find many parallels in history.

I’ve seen a picture of occupy mcdonalds quite a few times recently. That seems like more of a thing he would do anyway.
