Exactly...and that’s why I pointed out that ‘au pair’ is a european name for a ‘nanny’. The only thing I have seen so far to suggest she was ‘mother’ is the divorce document - finalized March 1964, in which she was given custody.
‘Dreams’ also states she was accepted to attend the U of Chicago...how could that be, unless she was in Chicago and applied to attend?
The lack of chronology is what confuses. She supposedly graduated from Mercer Island in 1960. (’Dreams’ says nothing about Mercer Island)
