Yes, you read that right. Bill Maher, after the mention of Herman Cain’s lead over Romney, says Romney is the only thing standing between us and the rise of the apes. This comment was made during an interview given by George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s Good Morning America, Monday morning.
If this doesn’t make the headlines tomorrow, and if this isn’t one of the top stories on the MSM news programs, we will all know for certainty the double-standard hypocrisy of the Leftists.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Yet, he’s, he’s still leading the field. Still is. I mean, he’s starting to fall just a little, but still leading the field.
MAHER: But, that’s just because they hate Mitt Romney.
STEPHANOPOULOS: They do.
MAHER: You have got to feel bad for Mitt Romney. I mean, he’s been led, so far, by Trump, then Bachmann. Then Perry. Then Cain.
STEPHANOPOULOS: But, he kinda hangs in there. He’s everyone’s second choice.
MAHER: I’m rooting for him. You know? Because, look, in a country with only two parties, the Republican can always win. I mean, at least he eats with a knife and fork. I mean, he is all that stands between us and the rise of the apes.

I remember when Stephanopoulos was Clinton’s little organ grinder monkey.
I think the point is the double standard. Remember the New York guy that used the word niggardly (correctly) in a statement and was forced to resign because he should have know blacks that do not understand proper English would be offended. Forget what the word or the statement meant. Or did Sarah Palin really mean to target Giffords as in shoot her. Of course not, but the media sure spun it that way.

Gets my vote for 2011 Darwin Award for the most stupid, naive, insipid, brain-dead comment in the history of all blog-nalism. Never mind that the author should have said "for certain" to be grammatically correct; the mere suggestion that, absent this new bit of evidence, there might remain any valid question about whether the Lefty Media are biased is so vapid it's insulting.
Beyond that, someone should cut off Bill Maher's coin purse and sew it into his spit hole so he suffocates gagging on his own jewels.
