SNIP if the media only gave as much scrutiny to Obama in 2008, you got to wonder if there might have been a different outcome. He's so adamant in his denial, though, and that's why I was a little surprised when he said -- it's not a time to play detective. But it seems to me that this charge, 13 years, if he's flying women around the country and he's showing up in hotels with them over this long period of time, that this is easily proven or disproven. No?

I have had people who have sworn on a Bible that they have had affairs with Todd or had affairs with me or one specific one was a masseuse that she massaged me when I was seven months pregnant and she could tell that I wasn't pregnant, hence, Trigg was not my kid. And that resulted in this whole Trigg truther issue that I still deal with every day.
I've had these liars out there trying to ruin my family and my reputation and my record. So I know what Herman Cain is going through. But again, as I say --

You know, I saw a post name, “Middle Earth” and it triggered a response in me. So, my very humble message to my fellow Cain supporters and Mr. Cain (Lord of the Ring):

Fellow Cainiacs- yes- he may drop out (I still don’t think so- I still think/hope, as I always have, he’s playing them like a drum) In this regard, I might be wrong- and then, certainly I will look foolish on this Board. OMG!!!! A Fate worse than Death!!! -:) But thankfully, I don’t take myself that seriously -I’m been foolish more times than I can remember.
But here, I rather be considered a Fool, that a fair-weather friend. Mr. Cain fought for the principles some of us whole dear. And if this be his final day, the least we can do, is take this last opportunity to support him on this Board against all of those who are eviscerating him solely because they are shilling their personal candidate, and by reduction, forsaking the family of constitutional conservatives.
So my fellow Cain supporters, -if one day is all we have- use this day to the fullest- and give him full-throated support on each and every thread. He deserves that from us!

And it’s going to be refreshing when facts come out on this so that people can make up their mind, make their own judgment on this, and then we can move on and start talking about the issues that really matter.

I kind of like her position now in the republican party...more of a guide than a direct leader....she has more conservative sway that way, I think. 8 years vs 15-20 years of influence.
I stand with you! I’m not giving up on him. As soon as he’s gone, they’ll start on Newt. And if Newt fades they will start on whoever takes his place. It won’t end until Obama is secure in the White House for a 2nd term.
But just as I felt with Sarah, if he decides this is all too much, I will also support his decision to drop out. This race has been vicious beyond comprehension.

I may be a little biased but I do love your post. :) The whole political sphere of this country, these times, the loss of morality etc reminds me of the fight for Middle Earth.
I, too, will stand with Cain and if we prove foolish for our trust in him, at least we stayed the course.
In this era we are in, it is wise to be careful and be willing to give the benefit of doubt whenever we see conservatives accused of such things. Our enemies are abject evil, and will use our moral standards to destroy our own. Soros can funnel a cool $500,000 under the table to someone to make wild accusations to deliberately character-assassinate someone they deem a danger to their marxist agenda. We’ve got to be EXTREMELY conscious of all this, and not fly off the handle whenever we first hear something.
Admittedly, both the facts and the handling of this latest Cain situation makes things look pretty bad for him. But again, I think we need to always gauge these things very, very carefully before coming to a conclusion.
