When Geralda Rivera said that Trayvon Martin was partially responsible for his own murder because he wore thug clothes, he was saying what only saying what most Zimmerman supporters have been thinking all along, but refuse to say aloud. It is awfully sad, and unfair, that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and white boys and men who look like him, can dawn a hoodie whenever they like, and never be considered a threat. This is not about hoodies or thug clothes, but the color of the men wearing the clothes. Its about freedom. Everything else is excuse making.
To the Zimmerman supporters who say this has nothing to do with race, take a look at this photoshopped image thats making the rounds on Facebook and Twitter. Tell me that youd be still be supporting Zimmerman if the tables were turned. Would you still be donating $1,000 per day to Zimmermans support fund if he resembled the image on the right? And for once, be honest with yourself:

What a knee slapper!
Actually Zimmerman does not look that different than the picture on the right. It is not race as much as gender and age. If Trey was a 60 year old woman would anyone have cared if she were walking around the complex in the rain.
What if John McCain were half black and Barack were white as driven snow?
Get over it racists.
If they posted a picture of the kid when he was 12 years old and that of the other in as bad a frame as they could find, and I was told that the black guy had chased the white “kid” down and shot him, of course I would be against the shooter.
Just like I was when I initially saw the pictures and heard the stroy about Trevon being chased down and killed.
But that isn’t really what happened, and so I changed my mond.
When I say that the “kid” wasn;t a 12-13 year old byut a 17-18 year old who was 6’2” tall, and when I heard the eyewitness say it was Zimmerman on the ground being beatin by Trevon...slamming his head into the side walk...and then as the evidence came out to support this story, and that it was Zimmerman crying for help.
Well, I changed my mind, just as I would if it turned out a white kid who was a hood had doubled back on the balck neighborhood watch and confronted him and started beating him so severely.
Zimmerman did what he had to do, not just to defend himself, but to survive.
If the colors were reversed I honestly would have come to the same conclusions.
Like most liberal mind sets...they want to project on the rest of us what they feel. They are racists and figure we must certainly be also. But we’re not. I see two Americans and then try to find which one was breaking the law and trying to harm the other. In this case, that is now obvious.
And so far no evidence to suggest that George Zimmerman was unjustified in his actions that night.
Um, yes. 100%. I hate white thugs just as much as any other thugs.
Racists asshat.
(Directed to the author, not 2nd.)
Show me Zuckerberg or a white non-hood-wannabe who wears a hood up in 85 degree weather.
Then we can talk.
Doogie Hauser!
Absolutely. I'm for the rule of law, not for supporting someone because of the color of their skin.
Put the white kid in a hoodie, not smiling and older, THEN WE’LL TALK. Until then, it’s the same’ol false narrative.
If whites were racist Obama would’ve never been elected and there was every reason in the world NOT to vote for him.
If the scenario were reversed like the pic, who would Yvette Carnell be supporting?
The early handicapping is Z walks.
The new uncertainty of the witnesses pretty much implicitly exonerates his “stand his ground” defense.
Latino-on-black violence. Unprecedented.
Z did nothing illegal — even following Martin was perfectly legal.
I am not saying Z was 100% an angel — he could have executed differently.
But now it is pretty much over.
No I wouldn’t. But then I don’t donate to Zimmerman either.
But I would be happy to donate to a lawsuit vs Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the New Black Panthers. They weren’t exercising their free speech, they were inciting riot and violence upon another.
I cannot understand why they haven’t been charged and arrested.
These village idiots need to be tied up in court and paying 100’s of thousands of dollars in defensive legal fees — to which we’ll get to watch them solicit donations for their legal defense fund.
Zimmerman isn’t white.
He’s half white and half Hispanic.
Like President Obama is half white and half black.
Geraldo is also Hispanic.
I don’t know where this “white boys” stuff is coming from.
Maybe they should take their gripes to La Raza.
“I see two Americans and then try to find which one was breaking the law”
Obviously, you didn’t go to Harvard Law School. As proponent of Critical Race Theory, Obama believes that adherence to the Rule of Law constitutes racism. The only fact worthy of consideration here is that if Obama had a son, he would look like Travon.
This already happened. Anyone can search the FR archive to see how most of us supported John White in the Long Island neighborhood shooting back in 2008, I think it was.
John White was the black homeowner who shot and killed the leader of a band of drunken teen toughs who threatened his son and family. He was convicted of owning an unregistered firearm (peculiar to New York) and served a few weeks in jail before the outgoing black governor of New York pardoned him.
Go read the stories. White had my full support and the same from almost everyone who posted in those threads. Even Al Sharpton weighed in publically for John White. So go screw your mothers, “Black World Coalition”, whoever you assholes are.

I don't know about that, Yvette. Here's a black American who doesn't agree with you at all.
Trayvon Martin, hoodies, & sagging jeans (video 7:09)
Talk about doubling down on the Big Lie.
Given, there are many in this sorry saga, but the biggest lie is the use of a side-by side photos of a younger, angelic Trayvon and a perp Zimmerman - when Trayvon was no longer that angelic kid and Zimmerman was now a law-abiding neighbor at the time of the incident.
So for those of us who actually dig down below the superficialities of the news, no, that photoshopped picture makes absolutely no difference, because we know the original MSM side-by-side had no more realtion to current realities than the photoshop.
And that's saying' something - something this liberal pinhead doesn't want to hear.
IMHO, he looked more like Eric Holder. Another proponent of critical ace theory.
I'm sickened at how obama and the haters have tried to destroy race relations and how effective they've been on the great unwashed and unenlightened.
Honestly? I think that there are 40 such cases, which get scant attention from journalism, for every one Martin/Zimmerman case. And that since whites expect nothing else, they are at pains to careful around young black men.Honestly? We have a tape of Zimmerman talking to the police and impatient for their arrival. We have a claim that some unidentified girl who Martins parents didnt know talked to Martin on the phone and that he was afraid of Zimmerman.
Honestly? We have evidence and an eyewitness account backing Zimmermans claim that Martin hit Zimmerman in the nose and slammed his head against the sidewalk. In context the sidewalk was a weapon. And the police report even states that Zimmerman's automatic pistol had a full magazine in it but, having fired once, did not chamber a second round. Indicating that someone had their hand on the gun besides the one who fired it. Which confirms that Martin and Zimmerman were engaged in a hand-to-hand struggle when the gun fired. In that context you cant even say for sure that Zimmerman intentionally pulled the trigger or did so reflexively in an effort to keep the gun away from Martin.
Honestly? If Zimmerman intended to shoot Martin, how did the popularly pictured "little child Martin engage him in hand-to-hand combat?
Honestly? If little child Martin was terrified and screaming for Help! Help! at the top of his lungs, how did he come to be shot from the front rather than the side or back??? If Zimmerman, knowing the cops were coming and knowing that the cries would attract witnesses, wanted to shoot Martin, why did Zimmerman give Martin the time to shout Help! so many times???
The conclusion is pretty much inescapable that Zimmerman had no thought of attacking Martin, and that the 17-y-o football player achieved surprise and did attack Zimmerman, very aggressively and effectively. And that in the hypothetical case where Zimmerman was not carrying that weapon, Zimmerman would have been injured pretty seriously, or possibly even killed, by the time the police arrived a couple of minutes later.
You can parrot the claim that it wouldnt have happened if Zimmerman had stayed in his car, and that is true but not the truth. The truth is that Zimmerman was in his own neighborhood and that Martin, his fathers living with a woman who was a resident notwithstanding, was a stranger - and one who, in the event, was there only because he was on a 10 day (!) suspension from school. And who was nevertheless not under adult supervision at night (you cant expect a man to skip a dinner date with his girlfriend just because his son needs his fathers supervision and direction - but you can, apparently, expect him to trademark his sons name to make money off of his consequent death).
Yvette Carnell, your photoshopping the color of the old picture of the child Trevon Martin is of a piece with journalisms having published only the immature child photo of Martin, whom Zimmerman took in the dark for a man. Journalism is already busted for that propaganda ploy, and you are busted for doubling down on it. From Jesus Christ on down, plenty of people far worthier than Trevon Martin - or you or I - have suffered far worse than Trayvon Martin. Life isnt fair. Get over it.
And speaking of people who are far worthier than you, it looks very much like George Zimmerman fits that bill. And that you are trying to railroad him. Stop the hate!
If anything, Obama was elected BECAUSE of “race-ist” whites. They chose him, not because of his qualifications, but because of his skin color. They chose based on race. To me, that’s “race-ist.”
My wife and I were on a weekend getaway in Charleston, SC in October, 2008 and we overheard some college-age kids talking with their folks (who must have been visiting their college-attending offspring). They were all gaga over the idea of electing the first Black president—(”...how historic,”...”we’re gonna be a part of history...,” yada, yada) These young skulls full of mush weren’t thinking about the country, weren’t thinking about the issues, weren’t thinking about the candidates...They were thinking about race. And that, my friends, is what I call “race-ist.”
How many black Americans have died at the hands of other black Americans in 2012? Probably over 2000 if you gauge by statistics from other years. Very little attention to all the other deaths, but endless obsession over this one case.
If Zimmerman had not shot Martin, he would probably have been dead within minutes, and no one outside the immediate area would have ever heard about the case.
My take on the whole issue:
For me at the outset there was at least the appearance of a “whitewash” (bad choice of words but OK). Which is to say it seemed at least to me that Zimmerman had been given a get-out-of-jail-free card.
I think this was the source of the initial outrage as well.
Now this issue has been put to bed with all that has transpired.
Now this issue is not the “whitewash” but actual guilt or innocence.
With all the facts that have come out it seems to me that as others have pointed out that while Zimmerman could have made other decisions then the ones that he made, he is not guilty of murder according to anyone’s legal definition of the term.
Unfortunately this whole issue has become so politically charged I don’t know that issues of law are the ones that are going to predominate. That RATS and their enablers are now married to this case despite the fact that any appearance of whitewash has been made moot by this point.
I think Zimmerman *will* be sacrificed on the race altar at this point because the left will see no other alternative.
If the state acquits him, the feds will go after him on some trumped up civil rights charge.

and this picture of Zimmerman:

Then we can see the two of them in a more accurate light.
