I just watched a snippet on local news were kids were lining up to get their free backpacks and school supplies.
Of course the moms were wearing $300 glasses, $200 shoes, had new iPhones, and hairdos from Hades.....
Because stupidity and bad judgement is not child abuse, and it diminishes real abuse to say it is. Author is a moron.
My mom said that’s why she doesn’t contribute school supplies to her church’s collection anymore. The parents blow their money on high-end personal goods for themselves, and then beg for help for their kids.
Must be in honor of the First Lady.
I won’t be surprised if I read in a few years of this kid being arrested for sexual crimes against women.
Also, did anyone notice this kid’s humongous navel? Looks like an umbilical hernia to me.
Mama has to have her hair done at $100 per months and nails done at $20 per but God help her, she can’t afford $50 for school supplies or $100 for hooked on phonics.

Yes it is, if you get the child to strike seductive poses or simulate sex acts. The sexual exploitation of a child is a criminal act.
The parents, producers and adult participants should be charged. If it doesn't get to that point, they should at least be named, blamed and shamed as a corrective to them, and an example to others.

That’s a right of passage for their “culture”, or lack thereof. There would be no shame amongst their peers, unfortunately.
Same here for me. They have a back pack & school supply drive for couple of the school districts. Reporters took pictures of these children and their parents who received the items; of course, the kids and parents had 200.00 tennis shoes, ladies had their manicures and pedicures, etc.
For Christmas drive, picture of a kid getting a coat while on his new snowboard his parents bought him..excuse me?

But sexual abuse of a minor is. I don’t know the pertinent statutes in his are, but I’d look into it if I were the DA.
I hear about this sort of thing around here, too.
In all fairness when I was a kid in school, you know back when the Pyramids at Giza were being constructed, the school provided us with paper, pencils, crayons, glue and the rest.
Now we are taxed to death over schools and half of them can’t buy stuff like toilet paper, tissues and soap? What is more when the kids bring stuff like tp, and tissues what do they do with what is left over at the end of the year? Some parents have told me of seeing piles and boxes of this stuff not used and on top of the teacher’s cabinet towards the end of the year yet by the last day of school it is all gone? If it is not used why can’t the kids have it back? Oh I guess the teachers are not paid that much is why.
I pay $8000/yr in Property Taxes for schools, and I still have to cough up $100 for school supplies.
