Posted on 08/11/2012 10:21:58 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet
As I read that Mitt Romney picked Paul Ryan as a running mate, I heard "Puppet Man," by the 5th Dimension, echoing through my head. I wondered if this choice, worse than Palin could even pretend to be, would wake up the 50 percent who chant the "Star Spangled Banner" even though they are clueless as to what that song signifies. Im sure the tune gets blurred between shouts of Hallelujah and Ave Maria.
I have to laugh at this choice. Obviously, Mitt and his puppeteers arent concerned with the vote. The majority of independents are lost on Mitts choice. Independents are smarter and above the propaganda. We search out the truth. We arent easily bought when pummeled by media. We look at everything, closely scrutinizing every move made by both parties, and then, with critical thinking skills fully intact, vote. With Mitt choosing Paul, it seriously makes me wonder how fixed the voting system already is. If Mitt can pull this off and become president with Paul as a running mate, our people are either really, really stupid, or it is totally fixed. America doesnt hold that many ignorant people. People with any intelligence, right now, should be humming Fleetwood Macs Go Your Own Way. America wouldnt want any part of a Romney/Ryan team. Im sure if the independents were polled today, Romney would take a huge hit. The Republicans would cry its because of the college educated idiots. If this team wins, I, along with many others, will know this is a fixed vote. We are done. The democracy is over.
I did read a Facebook friend's post about voting. This friend was told he wasnt allowed to split his ticket. He had to vote a straight ticket. Since when are we told how to vote? I never vote a straight ticket. I wont now, either, no matter who tells me what. If someone tries otherwise, well, youll hear the rest of that story when, and if, Im released from jail.
While the Republican politicians are singing the songs of the self-righteous God they dont even believe in, I, and many like me are going to sing "Free Bird," (Lynyrd Skynyrd.) At this point in politics, even I want to roll a blunt, kick back, and remember the day I was a member of a free country. The bird I will sing about isnt a shy sparrow, but a raging and angry eagle.
George W and Dick Cheney were bad enough. I cant imagine what will happen if Mitt decides to turn our war games over to Paul, as George did to Dick. I wish the Kochs would grow some much needed testicles and run for office themselves. They couldnt buy an election to put themselves in power. They would lose, we already know the polluting losers they are. They wouldnt have the guts to face the nation, one on one, with their lies and schemes, because even the dumbest of dumb could see through it. They have to use puppets. Puppets like Romney, Ryan, Snyder, Walker, and Scott play out the dreams of the billionaires who would be told no if they ran the political race. What would it be like for a billionaire, one who can buy every whim, to be told no? Oh, wait, we know. The Kochs, the Kochs who began their wealth through Stalin, were told no by Obama, werent they?
Mitt Romney is what happens when the spoiled rich dont get their way. Sorry David and Charles, I think you are garbage human beings. What are you going to do if you cant buy this election? I would really like an answer, but you are cowards. You will also to be too embarrassed to answer that question honestly, wont you? The Kochs and the Koch cohorts think they are the Geppettos to the Romney's Pinocchio. You embarrass me. You shame me as an American. I do have an idea, though, that XL pipeline deal you desperately want, you know, because you own that Canadian land that wants the oil sands to sell to China, well, move there. Move to Canada, America really doesnt want you. If we could only vote out citizens who should be imprisoned for poisoning the people in various ways, you would be on the top of my list.
Now, Im going to end this by saying that anyone who thinks Mitt Romney's running mate is fit for our White House in any way, research. Look at the trash that flows from his mouth. Those who love the ignorance of Palin are in for a real treat with Ryan.
Now, Im going to go. I Feel Like Makin' Love (Bad Company) to ease my mind and blow off the stress of knowing that Mitt thinks my people are dumb enough to swallow Ryan as a running mate. Im still shaking my head in disbelief at the Koch puppets insanity.
Why is this bitter hag’s garbage tainting the archives of FR?
I say: Pam Messingham is a looney bird.
And a lousy writer, to boot. Nothing but straw men, emotional knee-jerk and selective memory (as in, all the those horrible, meanie Bush-era policies that Obama has chosen to extend) as far as the eye can see.
Paul doesn’t make Romney a “great,” or even “good” choice, but you sure can’t say Paul is as bad as Biden. With the VP slot really only serving as the Senate tie-breaker, fellow campaign debater, and the rare step-in for a presidential death, Mr. Ryan will have relatively little to contribute. That said, not voting for president, voting for 0bama, or voting for “Mickey Mouse” or the like will only help 0bama.
If you can’t vote for Romney due to conscience (pro-abortion, etc.), then stop paying your freaking taxes, because you are funding the same. Otherwise, it becomes obvious you are only a person of “conscience” when it is convenient.
Which means you are part of the problem and not part of the solution in any way.
Dreadful Vice-Presidents ? No mention in the article of Joe Biden, the world-class retard with ass hairs stapled to his scalp.
I am, sick of this shit
Advanced stage liberalism.
I pay my taxes because I will go to jail if I don't. period. There's no law compelling me to vote for any person. I could have voted for any one of our potential candidates. Mitt Romney was the one candidate I could not vote for. Many agreed with me including the owner of this web site. I predicted he would get the nomination regardless of all that though. Many of my fellow freepers told me not to worry, that there was no way Romney would get the nomination. They were wrong. After South Carolina, I threw all my support to Newt Gingrich and informed anybody that read my posts that it was a choice between Newt or Romney. Nobody listened or cared. I was right of course. Newt was seen as not conservative enough so "real conservatives" threw their weight behind Rick "the spoiler" Santorum even after it was obvious that he was more interested in beating Newt than Mitt. Now I'm being told by supposed conservatives that I have to vote for Mitt Romney? Well, not only No, but HELL NO. I truly do not care who wins this election and nothing you or anybody else can say will change that. FMR
I admire your active participation here, but why on earth do you sometimes post useless crap like this? I understand that it’s good to know your enemy, but the kind of blithering idiocy secreted by this blogger Messingham yields nothing instructive. I mean, I don’t like cockroaches and rats any more than I like liberal simpletons, but I don’t need to know anything more about them other than that they must be crushed, flushed down the toilet, and forgotten.
There’s just nothing of interest in the childish rants of pigs like Messingham.
From the blog:
Hi, my name is Pam. I am an independent liberal. I believe in the protections and freedoms granted, and "supposedly protected," by the U.S. Constitution. I will promote Mom and Pop shops over "Corporate America." I am soft hearted, therefore there may be times you will read an emotional outcry from something or someone that simply touched my heart. ~Pam
Pam is far from "independent". She's more like an occutard.
This article just wasted the precious black ink in my computer monitor. /s
:: yawn ::
Do not operate heavy equipment after doing drugs and liberalism.
I’d say posting this garbage comes awfully close to trolling.
But not above authoring propaganda, right?
“Independents are smarter and above the propaganda. We search out the truth. We arent easily bought when pummeled by media. We look at everything, closely scrutinizing every move made by both parties, and then, with critical thinking skills fully intact, vote.”
Do you reckon that’s why they voted for Zero in ‘08? ROFLMAO
I threw all my support to Rick Santorum and informed anybody that read my posts that it was a choice between Santorum or Romney. Nobody listened or cared. I was right of course, because if Newt had dropped out of only the states that Rick was leading in, they could have denied Romney a vctory.
Oh, those knowledgeable independent voters!
